Just back in , great team performance 2 evenly matched sides , gave Villa to much respect prior to kick off and we thoroughly deserved the win . I thought JL was magnificent, his work rate phenomenal. Willock getting better with Fraser too Burn was a colossus I can’t fault any of them , effort is a million times better under EH , you can visibly see the difference in Shelvey , Willock, Fraser and co . A win I didn’t really have faith in but what a great battling display . Not a single chance we are going down.

My first memories of these was 1981 , and we hated each other then , before that I can't say . I remember walking down a road with a windmill to Roker , lots of battling near the ground , not once in my 4 visits to Roker did I ever go in the away end , not because of hooliganism just I couldn't get a ticket and my dodgy mates all went for a fight so got tickets in their end .
