Nigeria were the better team across 120 mins but never really tested Earps. I thought the few chances we had were actually better. They should have won it but they didn't and that's football. Gutted for them, I saw that they knew once it went to penalties, that was it. Tough to take. Onwards and upwards!

You just can't take the risk though. Any sort of outward aggression whether petulant or actually violent will result in a 90% red card most of the time. There's no room for it in the game anymore so players need to learn to keep their emotions in check. Part and parcel of the game.

I was genuinely just intrigued how Maddison was getting on at spurs. I've always liked Barnes more tbh but would have loved both. Think old Harvey fits our system more and Maddison will be a good fit at spurs. Esp if Kane does leave and he takes the 10 role. Barnes is going to score a hatful for us: hand, glove.

I think so. Esp with the way we play. Seems like a very good fit. Although no sure how we will fare when teams sit back on us. Both fiorentina and VR play the way we like the most. Has Maddison done anything of note for spurs yet?
