I've got such a good feeling about Karius. I know he fucked that CL game up for Liverpool but honestly, every player makes mistakes. Doesn't mean he's shit. Pope's made some real.howlers but he's still a top goalkeeper. Dubs has never given me anything special, just feels more bog standard.

Gordon took half a season and a Euros to settle and he had few more years on Hall. Could be a number of things keeping Hall on the bench; fitness, tactics, not completely understanding Howe's way. Even the fact that he's 19 (and don't say but Miley...) Every player is different. He might need to build his confidence - you don't know! Don't write him off just yet. Not sure why this board never learns...

Way back in terms of academy. They had the same problems with managers over the years. Selling Grealish has set them and now they're on a great upward trajectory because they have a manager who knows who to buy.

If we're not gonna win the league, then I'd rather Villa did. Really push the noses out of joint. They're years ahead of us in terms of development and have a great academy. Now they have a great manager, it's all clicking and I'm happy to enjoy it on their behalf. It's about time someone else rattled the upper echelons and I really hope they can keep this up! Our owners really do know how to pick a good manager. We will be there soon but we've had to come from waaaay further back. Our academy is only just getting started!
