Very very good tonight, so far! In the squad for next season!
-
This man! fucking legend!
-
Tierney fits the bill, continuing to play a back 4 which reverts to a 3 when Tripps gets forward. Tierney is well versed as a Left Centre Halve also. Depending on the price, he's a definite upgrade.
-
Another one that's simply looking a bit tired. he's the target now it seems - it was Longstaff a few months back...(and that dated well) He and Bruno are vital but they are fucking exhausted and probably playing at 70%. We need a squad. Simples.
-
There are a few on here that need to chill the fuck out. You don't automatically win every game. There's a middle ground and it's often called a draw. We were sloppy but it was always going to be a frantic, full-throttle game. Disappointing not to win, not much Trippier could do tbh, take the draw and move on.
-
Looks shattered to me and takes one too many liberties on the ball at times. Otherwise still a legend. Long fucking season for him.
-
but he's not premier league quality according to a fair few on here. Miss him big time!
-
Frustrating game. Big Jo and Bruno terrible today. Had we went ahead I think we would have won it. Sadly we never. Game of fine margins. On to the next!

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

Tend to agree. He's undoubtably a great footballer. I don't think he's athletic enough out of possession to play in our system, right now anyway. But he would give us another dimension on the ball and in terms of vision and control of tempo. Not sure we can have him and Bruno in Midfield together either. I'd love to see him here and how Eddie would use him, but if it were him or a high intensity ball playing DM like Ugarte or Rice, I think I'd go for the later. -
Fuck off man! Dan Burn getting the blame again? Much like Longstaff? who we are missing again, he gets the shite for everything. It was Bruno fucking around and Trippier not watching his man. Simple. We've been poor all round. Big Joe has been crap and again we miss Longstaff in there, it's clear to see.

Poor game of football this. Almiron, Willock and a few others been no where near good enough. Wilson did well for the goal but still think our general play suffers without Isak.
-
There goes my stream lacking
-
Think we miss Isak, dropping off into space and linking the play. Wilson is great but far more one dimensional.

Worth the early start this. Still going for my 8-0 prediction before kip last night. -

8-0 off to kip! -
This. I'd rather a younger dynamic DM with some recovery pace. Madison is another story as he's far higher up the pitch, would be great to have an option of someone who can shoot from 30yards, like him. Pulls deep defences out and opens up the space in behind also.
-
Rafa was great, a tiny glimmer of hope in a giant pot of piss. A little defensive but worked wonders most the time he was here. Cant knock the bloke. But happier with Howe and the way he plays, less politics too. Onwards and upwards! Also cant underestimate the role Rafa had in bringing the new owners to the table, if the tales are true.
-
Genuinely, whats the big deal with Gallagher? I've never been that impressed... I get the Madison shouts, I get the Rice shouts, I even liked Phillips at Leeds, but Gallagher's done nowt to warrant the England calls he's had. If anything it highlights the fact Willock and Longstaff should be knocking on the door for England, if his performances for Chelsea are the bench mark. If we get top 4 we should break the fucking bank for Bellingham. (said partly tongue in cheek) or go abroad.
-
Canny video on our Midfield. Gallagher can also evade selection. I don't see what he's done that's so good, plus I doubt he's come up north. I'd keep Longstaff where he is and get a DM to play/cover/evolve our shape. But to your own point Bruno is killing it in this deeper role.
-
I'd rather Longstaff over Gallagher personally. Maybe I'm the mad one here. We're Top 3 he's as close to an ever present in that achievement... What I'm I missing? If Longstaff adds Goals, which I think he will, theres not much more he can do. He's bossing midfield and sometimes the combination of players and how they play in unity is more important than just playing 'names'. I'm not sure what more some of these lads can do, to stop being suggested as cannon fodder!
