    Dan Burn

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10449815/Newcastle-shy-Brightons-valuation-Dan-Burn-despite-improving-rejected-8m-bid.html Newcastle are falling short in their bid to sign Brighton centre back Dan Burn. Talks are ongoing after they improved on their initial £8m bid but the Magpies are still shy of Brighton's valuation. It doesn't say how much we bid the second time
  2. "According to the British press; Newcastle turned the route to Fenerbahce's Attila Szalai. It was stated that the black-and-white club will offer Fenerbahce 20 million euros for a testimonial fee."
  3. Talksport are good with sources tbf, just don't listen to their opinions
  4. "It’s said the plan is to make the Magpies fight for the league title next season, and to achieve that, they’re said to be expecting a little help from Brazil."

    Jesse Lingard

I think they're a few hours back in terms of updates. Fairly sure Athletic said something about speaking to Rangnick but that's not happening now?

    Jesse Lingard

Ornstein: https://theathletic.com/news/jesse-lingards-proposed-move-to-newcastle-on-the-verge-of-collapse/6MKlqD5xQQzv/ Jesse Lingard’s proposed move to Newcastle United is on the verge of collapsing, The Athletic understands. Newcastle were working on a deal to take the 29-year-old midfielder on loan until the end of the season and, despite initially planning to stay and fight for a place at United, Lingard is believed to have warmed to the idea of switching to St James’ Park. Direct talks were held with United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick on Tuesday, in which Lingard asked for approval to leave, and the German is believed to have given his blessing. But the two clubs were unable to agree financial terms and the new Saudi Arabia-led ownership on Tyneside will now reluctantly switch their attention to alternative targets before the transfer window closes next Monday.

It is understood that Lee Charnley, who was a managing director and the chief executive at Newcastle, has been lined up to take a similar role if the Ashley bid is successful. Bruce will have a job lined up I'm sure...
  11. Was posted earlier https://www.dorset.live/sport/football/football-news/under-8s-assistant-head-uk-6537928 Last summer, six months prior to his exit, one source gave a glowing account to DorsetLive of Howe's contribution within the recruitment team. The source spoke of Howe working long hours, often staying late at the club's offices to sieve through the meticulous processes scouting can entail.

Just need to scrape by and the summer will be really exciting. Hopefully we can try again for Botman if he's still available then
