  1. How has Fred even made it into this squad, let alone starting ahead of Bruno ffs?!
  2. That’s all well and good but the stat isn’t really relevant to the discussion. We know Kane scores goals and gets assists, that’s not in question. If you can find the stat that shows how many times Kane has shot when passing would’ve been the better option, we can all make an objective judgement. I doubt it exists though, so you just have to judge it on what you see. One perfect example is against Croatia in the last World Cup. Square it and Sterling scores. He shot instead and got rightly panned for it. Maybe that’s what some people want from their strikers but I always prefer a player who puts the team first.
  3. Not really, I have eyes. He might've created a few but if he's ever in the box or anywhere near it he's one of the most selfish players around
  4. If that was Kane he shoots every time and it probably gets saved. Brilliant, unselfish play by CM ??
  5. And not going to the WC. Moronic decision!!

    Miguel Almirón

Very well deserved! His response to the Grealish question is exactly what you'd expect from Miggy; humble and classy! The feel good around this club at the moment is amazing to see
  7. I still don’t understand Burn at left-back when we’ve got Targett. I know the whole don’t change a winning team and all that but he just looks so limited at times and gives us nothing going forward. It’s an odd one!
  8. £35m!! Bargain of the century!
  9. What a second half! Can’t remember many better!
  10. who's the massive unit swinging Miggy about?
  11. Shelvey's first time through balls to Isak are going to be a dream to watch when they're both fit.

    Alexander Isak

Goes in with a niggle, ends up with a serious strain. Maybe we should use our world class scouting network to find a fucking decent club doctor
  13. Every team in the world is vulnerable to the lure of Real Madrid, including Man City, Bayern, Juve etc. We've got an absolute diamond on our hands and we've got to hope that our thorough scouting into player's personalities and temperaments pays off. If they come in with an offer it's going to have to be a record breaker because we don't need the money and don't want to sell. And at this stage I couldn't see him downing tools to force through a move, but we've seen enough badge-kissers over the years to know how the game works.
  14. Tell me you haven't seen Joelinton play in the past 6 months without telling me you haven't seen Joelinton play in the past 6 months
  15. Shit pundit caught talking bollocks. Shock
  16. Fucking weapon! As soon as tactics, analysis and attention to detail became the norm in football management/coaching, Bruce was finished. Most of his 'success' came 10-15 years ago and funnily enough he's been an abject failure ever since. Shame to let facts get in the way of a good story though, eh?!

The fact we've won games without ASM, Shelvey and Isak in the team bodes well. We've also been carrying Willock for a few games as well, so that would suggest there's a decent amount of room for improvement.
  18. It's a valid point in one sense, but it's the job of the person recruiting to look into more than league tables - feedback from previous players/employers/staff, analysis on style of play, upturn in results from previous managers, fans' opinions and umpteen other factors. When you're spending millions on someone who the football club's plight is 100% dependent on, you have to do the most thorough due diligence possible. These guys just seem to pluck Bruce's name out of a hat, speak to a few pundits who bum him and hand him a 3 year contract. Proper due diligence would ensure Bruce never gets a job in English football again.
  19. How many other walks of life are there where a proven failure consistently lands jobs earning millions of pounds? Politics? Banking? Is anyone actually held to account for making these decisions in the first place? Hiring Steve Bruce should be an instant sackable offence because the outcome is inevitable. It's absolute lunacy!
  20. Like Tyrone Ballsniffer or Jeremy Fuckwit?
  21. Would Maddison be extraordinary? He'd be a great signing but given the calibre of players we've signed so far - Isak, Trippier, Bruno, Botman - extraordinary would be someone in the next couple of brackets up, surely? Mind you, this is media talk
  22. Rafa's key skill is making groups of players stronger than the sum of their parts. There's enough quality at Forest for Rafa to work his magic - Lingard, Johnson, Boly, Aurier, Kouyate, Dennis, Lodi, Henderson. He'd keep them up with room to spare
  23. Not like Murphy to make the wrong decision. Must be an off day
