After reading that Athletic article this morning on their finances and some of the comments, they need to sell players this summer, the more the better at reduced fees if necessary so long as their wages are gone. The gamble this summer is to get back into Europe, if that doesn't happen then next summer will be very interesting. Apparently the Glazers have agreed to stop taking dividends for the next 3 years and they have effectively increased their overdraft. If the players aren't sold and revenue is not increased by good performance and European qualification their new forward line will be looking for new clubs next season.
