Does he though? The last one to do it as regular as this was Kevin Nolan... Both him and Odergaard have the knack of standing still to find space whilst everyone else is running back towards goal. -
He looks better in an aggressive press, winning balls, tracking back, being a nuisance. He hasn't done that against three strong teams but then I thinka that's back to the team being more passive in their play. If Joe had been running around like he does there would have been holes in our play

Game for game we are only three points down on the same fixtures... So there is hope. And it's about what Howe learns from today that's important.

I'm positive we always have a nightmare game after the transfer window closes... It's normally with injuries but this feels just as bad ! -
I don't even know who he was trying to pass the ball to? Even Miggy had two players around him. Gutted as when it goes wrong it really goes wrong for him

We are to passive in our play... Similar to last week. We need to remember that we were at our best on the front door and aggressive in our play -
Can we challenge, their challenge about maxi's fee being inflated... I mean he is a different level but not 200 million better ?
-
Outside of maxi, wood and shelves I can't remember a player we have sold for any real fee. Perez 2019…???

I was thinking he maybe watched Foden struggle to nail game time over the past few years and thought he would leave to be a first team starter. Wonder which of the new signings will get bumped down to the bench for him!
-
I was thinking maybe it's unfair on him based on limited English players coming through... But then remembered we have just won the u21s! I mean surely we should be filling gaps with them and not Maguire, Hendon, Philips etc.
-
Good to see he has managed to squeeze another Crystal Palace player into the squad...can't wait to see who they get in the Champions League draw!
-
I think it would be also possible to inflate the figure even further.. I mean how much did Liverpool sell Coutinhio for ? And the market has only went north since then.
-
I don't think he will ever be at the level of a Torres, Suarez or a Salah but I think he is one of many good options for Liverpool. I was actually more worried about Jota coming on with his trickery and touch but it worked out the other way.
