  1. Top of my head best live goals I've seen Ginola setting himself up for the volley Ben Arfa running the length of the pitch Shearer v Chelsea Edit... Beardsley slide tackle and then lobbing the keeper in my first ever game.
  2. His best performances are against good teams who allow him more space to attack His poor performances are against teams who play the low block and limited his effectiveness. He is very good at what he does, so just have to admit he is not a grealish or a ginola who can dribble or make the perfect cross
  3. Is he a one off or could the other Mileys make it? I know ones at Hartlepool now but is there hope for the rest
  4. You missed the part out about him playing left back during this time. All of the positive performances are after he stepped back into CB. Needs must but he did struggle playing LB that season
  5. But I thought his legs had fallen off or was that just people over reacting... Never know what's the truth nowadays??
  6. In the plus side if nobody goes I will not have to stand to let them past 10 minutes either side of half time!
  7. We went through ten years or so when the club failed to take any cup serious. Now we are in our fourth quarter final in a row and people can't be arsed. Are we part of the problem???
  8. His initial game was running with pace, getting clear or winning a foul. He has now slowed his game down so much the defender just waits until he tries to go past and puts the tackle in At least run on the outside every now and then to put doubt in the defenders mind.
  9. He has had a bad run since his illness. However I still agree with Paul Scholes when he said Tonali is the best midfielder in the league. Just hope he clicks back into gear sooner rather than later.
  10. I might sound like a broken record but just tell whoever is on the wing to cross the friggin ball early.
  11. Neither cross the ball which is half the problem
  12. The only silver lining is if we use this as a springboard for change, mentality, tactics and if necessary player change. It's no about losing to Sunderland but our inept away performances all season. We just don't turn up for games no matter who we are playing
  13. lascelles and krafth not around?
  14. Ignoring his form this year I honestly believe teams feared Isak. That alone allowed others to have space.
  15. The summer window was fucked for one reason only with the whole focus of the club around one key player. Next year we have grown up conversations with all the players before the season ends. Do you want to stay or go? If you want to go it's the price before the world cup or you are staying. No wonder our tactics are fucked when didn't have a striker all summer
  16. I feel we are going into each game on a rotation basis and not the best eleven for each game. That can't be the right approach as surely you need to adapt your eleven to the opposition. Something has to change and it's currently impacting everyone
  17. He would surely run around more even if half fit
  18. I'm beginning to think that one run at pace against Barcelona was a fluke.
  19. Be ok if we have someone covering the back poat
  20. That goal just sums up our season The fact his header would have been an easy save if it was on target, makes it more laughable.
  21. Hate the bloke now but not going to rewrite history to say he was anything else but amazing for us. Even on his worst days he was a threat and be there for a tap in or a screamer from the edge of the box. You could argue Murphy laid it on a plate for him but it's the ones he created for himself that I can't understand vanishing. Surely he can still friggin shoot like that without a preseason!
