Praying for both teams to lose... Guess a nil nil will have to do. Or multiple injuries and the commentary to cut off. It's just a bloody song from the 60s for fucks sake... It's not a bloody mythical hymn.

Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 Newcastle United (18/10/25)

Well not long before Welbeck retires.... -
I mean Kane misses so its Gordons fault
-
Wow... Maybe they should focus on the other wing where nothing has happened. Oh that's Saka so we can't mention that
-
I wonder if the failed transfer was a wake up call. Maybe it was the kick up the arse he needed to focus on learning and developing

First time at an England game and I am not surprised with the comments about the crowd. The friggin trumpet and drum over power the crowd. Half the people around us didn't seem to care that the match was on And the rest then started leaving with 20 minutes to go. I blame Rashford

Gazza euro 96? Although his best was 1990 so just outside the 30 year remit

My first trip to watch England at Wembley tonight. Had hoped we could make a qualifier but at least Wales should add a little something extra to the friendly.

Newcastle United's best 3 transfers since 2020

Pope... The upgrade alone allowed our defence to settle. Wilson... Scored the goals to keep us up Bruno... Joined us, ignited the squad and fell in love with us the mad crazy fool. Without that spine down the middle we would not have gone on the journey we had -
More Shola-esque!

Only downside for me is everything seems played into him with his back towards goal. Looking forward to seeing what he is like once he gets a chance to run onto or with the ball at his feet.
-
With inverted wingers he should really be our key crosser of the ball. Seems to have no confidence in his ability, I wonder if his hamstring is holding him back
-
So an extra three weeks. Not the end of the world if he comes back fit.
-
Ironically keeps one or both of the senior players in the team for a while.
-
I just wish wingers would cross the ball to the forward / other winger at pace. Barnes, Gordon, Miggy have all ended up doing nothing. But then I was brought up with proper wingers in the style of Ginola, Gillespie, fox and sellers whose main aim was to feed the striker

As a side comment Looks a better left back than right.

Longstaff fell on top of his leg. It was not a pull from running or over stretching. Let's see what happens

League Cup 4th Round Draw: Tottenham Hotspur (H) (29/10/25 @ 8pm)

Haha good to see we get the hardest game of the round again. Not massive but come on man -
We need to stop overthinking freekicks and corners and go back to basics.
-
Reminds me of Miggy following his purple patch. All of a sudden neither could cross, shoot or make the right decision and I'm more frustrated in them that I know they can do it.

Two young Barca fans and an older married couple. Some pissed guy wanted them kicked out and others were defending them. Then at the end the guy who caused all the bother thought he would start arguing with our own fans.
-
Were the players bought for the system or were they the only ones they could get? Seems to me he would have been better buying players he wanted from Portugal who had played that way before
