You can still have an attacking lb who can defend or a defensive lb who can attack when the opportunity is right. Or ideally somewhere in the middle and we would become more adaptable to teams trying to nullify our right hand side.

Well if makes other clubs blow their budgets let's make some Rooney bids.. probably never get them at this stage in our journey but it would at least make others pay over the odds.

Subbing a sub will always annoy the player coming off. Never really happened with 2 or 3 subs but will become more common with 5 subs. Started with Grealish and Foden with Southgate and to be honest that pissed me off never mind what they felt lol.

I'm not talking a massive increase but an improvement on what we have. You could add corporate and keep the same or increase the number of seats but the added benefit of the outside not looking like a 70s eyesore.

I know people say the main problem is leazes terrace but is it not the building further down on the corner? Is that building also a listed building? I reckon without it we could upgrade the east stand and even mirror the architecture of leazes terrace if we wanted to.

Does he not just want parity with other incoming players. Same story has played out for loads of academy products over the years. I.e. Ashley Cole at Arsenal to Chelsea

Ok.. Keegan and Daglish both got us to 2nd place in the league two years in a row. One was through wanting to win games in style and entertain, the other was through not losing and finding a way to win. I think Southgate falls into the latter category and will set up defensively and hope that Harry bangs one in. Not my taste in football but it will make you hard to beat and get you results 9 times out of 10.

We need to build a squad not just a first 11 + three decent subs. Plus it may free funds up for a position we are looking to spend more money on? It might be another year before we can start buying worldies every time.

Don't know if it's rose tainted glasses... But watching the match cam and I think this seasons two away strips are amongst my favorites. Up there with the yellow on yellow promotion strip!
