It's not about scoring but being out of position... Similar to the Luton goal the other week when he pushed up to the edge of their box and the fast counter attack caught him out. I want last year's defence first approach and the odd clean sheet to build our confidence back up

I was more frustrated with Burn playing as some sort of attacking midfielder and breaking up some of our moves in the box. Almost like he was trying to overcompensate for his defensive shortcomings.

Clubs only allowed to have limited number of players under 21, to limit the likes of Chelsea , city hoarding the best young talent Restrict the number of outgoing loans per club to restrict the above further. Bring back the old fashioned reserve league where senior pros, squad players and emerging talent would be able to play together

Would have great to see who and how the midfield would have played out with all 6 cms fit. Tonali and two joes would have had more energy than the current three.. then add Anderson into the group as well. Still no real cdm or cam in the mix other than Bruno

What I love about Chelsea is they went 'Big'. High profile manager...who outside of PSG has won nothing High profile transfers... Who nobody else was bidding anywhere near the price they paid. Lengthy contracts.. thinking at worst they could flip the players but now the market is stalling and the potential they bought is yet to show. I mean if they sack Poch, does the next manager(s) have to work with the current squad or sell more home grown youngsters to balance the books. Its exactly the opposite of what we did, slowly, slowly being replaced with American gung ho and believing money would solve everything

I reckon that's why Murphy kept tucking in so deep inside at times. He was almost there as an extra body and provide more legs.

Bruno could not walk never mind run for most of the game. But surely keeping him on the pitch could risk him for the coming games. I would rather take him off but our the lack of transfer activity has caught up with us

My frustration is that Tino did nothing to deserve being dropped after his run of games ( most as MoM) I'm not sure Burns experience, strength or being a local player justifies him starting over a youngster (can only assume that is the reason?)

Left field.. but surely someone needs to sign Jessie Lingard this window or he might as well retire. I mean the only other player I can think of with such a drop off was Jack Wilshire but at least he had injury problems

I do wonder how close some clubs are sailing to the wind with regards to financial fair play. I bet there is one or two who needed to sell to balance the books but are now sweating as nobody is buying in this window!

The problem for winter loans is that Eddie would bed them in until they were upto speed and hyper fitness. Ignoring Hall... Even Gordon as a perm buy needed the summer break to catch up

Why can't we love both Keegan and Robson with equal measure? Both have been the highlights of my football life and will defend them both to the hilt. I bet if Robson had replaced Keegan straight away, we would have continued to improve or maintain those levels. It still breaks my heart how that team was ripped apart by dalglish and the board.
