Now is the time for them to be front and centre. As history as shown the club needs strong leadership, you can't leave this on Eddie alone to answer all questions.
-
Forget the FA cup, have fun in the CL but full focus on the league. The league is what will lose Eddie his job

If we had 4 fit CBs I would have tried Thiaw as emergency RB for the next game.

Keeping the squad together would piss off the fan base who want to sell most of the team. Personally I'm beginning to see the only way to close the gap is to buy and sell. Wonder if Wissa fancies replacing Ronaldo in the summer for 50 million plus
-
And when we leave them on with a twinge, we then hammer the physio's / Howe for leaving them on to long

Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle United [LCSF 2nd Leg] (04/02/26)

We needed our strongest team playing at the top of their game and for it to be a one off game In fact that's the one sensible thing they could change and play it as one off game with luck of the draw if you are home or away -

Never realised it before but it looks like you do actually need a pre season when you are a professional footballer. Or is just by chance that Isak and Wissa went from 20 plus strikers to going on strike and doing fuck all -

Half time and nobody cares. Just imagine if it was the other way around... Might have to be our 2030 squad though -

Fresh ideas are not working... We need to go back to our old way of playing -
Not worthy of a thread? Is this the transfer window chat ?

Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

Please mean we can at least get a loan player in.... -
I must admit I don't watch, read or listen after a big loss but did Howe say anything about dropping both forwards for the game? Were they carrying knocks or has he give up on them being the players he needs for the pressing style we used to have?
-
You can't just chuck a formation and an 11 players together and hope it clicks. No matter what I think of Slot, he just needed time to work out how to play against it and the game would turn. And we need a right back
-
Get me on for Trippier... I'm 53, had a heart attack 3 weeks ago but honestly I could just stand at right back and wave my arms around!
-
A fast paced end to end game is not the game for Trippier

Bloody rashford! -
Wonder if we will clarity on lascelles after the window closes? It was a strange quote by Howe about him the other week and I was only assuming he was either due to leave or quit football completely. Either way if you are playing three at the back you need 5 or 6 cbs in the squad

I would not be surprised if all six teams end up on one side of the draw... Uefa will be warming the balls up as we speak
