I'd happily take a draw tbh, but no reason why we can't push for more. Coutinho and Ramsey look shit-hot at the moment but I'm hoping that the Gerrard manager bounce is starting to wane a little.

If it wasn't for Bruce being here and him being played in his proper position, I don't reckon we'd have any of the same issues with him being in the box. I think with his time as a striker his confidence is shot in that department and being in the opposition box brings back painful memories, like he was in 'Nam or some shit. Had he never had that experience and was used to just being a midfield machine, he'd have a lot more confidence to score goals, similar to how he did at Hoffenheim.

I'd be more than happy if we bought Targett and another left back for competition. Going into the summer though, Botman should be our #1 target to be the mainstay of our defence for the next 5 seasons and beyond. I wouldn't be too bothered if he was the only CB we brought in, but I suspect we'll go for more and better. Wide forward is a position that needs improved as a priority, as much as I like Fraser and he's grafting his bollocks off for the team, he's the obvious one to upgrade as well as another, more dynamic striker to go ahead of Wilson and Wood in the pecking order, although again I'm not adverse to Wilson starting when fit as with a more possession-based team that creates chances he can be fucking clinical, it's just a shame about his injury problems. Like Jan though, I have little idea to what the club will do, I'm even reluctant to speculate! Just enjoying the ride and loving having my football club back pushing for more.

I find those within NUST pathetic. They weren't going to do anything, as it wasn't worth it because the club won't listen. They steal the idea from the person who resigned for not being listened to, showing in fact they should have listened to him, and then claim all the plaudits. They go on and on about paying to make your voice heard but have made repeatedly clear they won't hear a voice which goes against their agenda of simply maintaining their pointless "relationship" with NUFC and the same with the PL because they don't want to lose some kind of imaginary status of importance. A trust that is fully reflective of the football club IMO.

To Bruce it's a no-brainer to buy him as he's proven and tested in the Premier League. Ignoring the fact he's proven and tested at being shit in the PL of course.

I don't agree. He's been on social media vocally slagging off fans that don't live locally, saying they can't be proper fans. It doesn't bother me per se, but when you have him acting as a mouthpiece for the fanbase with a "Newcastle Consortium Supporters" tag (i.e. trying to represent everyone that wants the takeover) and knocking about with dickheads like Steve Wraith, he makes us look thick as pigshit. I respect him for getting up and doing something, but the attention seeking thereafter is why he gets so much flak and rightfully so.

I'm in the it's going ahead camp, but this strange love in for some grunt named Keith who's been abusing our own fans over social media is just... weird. Nothing to do with Nick de Marco, just down to some bloke called Keith from Whitley. Took down the PL himself with the swig of a can.
