Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
ShoTime replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Anyone know what the plans are for travelling mags going to Milan, even if ticketless? Or how to keep up with any plans? I'd like to start booking up now and not gan too far out. -
With that team we finished 3rd in the form table last season, so don't think Froggy's point holds much merit. Man U are shite and fortunate we got screwed by VAR so early in the season otherwise we'd be well ahead of them.
-
His passing and shooting isn't great, but with more goals hopefully the shooting can improve as a result of confidence. However his tenacity, energy levels, intelligence and all-round power is absolutely essential to our success. When we're talking about adding players like Maddison into the CM position to help unlock defences, I wonder does that upset the team balance? I'm genuinely struggling to see how anyone could replace either of the Joe's in that midfield 3.
-
Was it a flick though and not the defenders tackle? Because he didn't get an assist for it and I was raging.
-
It's slightly tongue in cheek, but they only play when they can be arsed to turn up against a 'big' opponent and should be knackered after a last minute win on Thursday against the mighty Omonoia. Our pressing and intensity will rock them.
-
We'd still get a result against these even with no Bruno, Maxi & Miggy. They're shit.
-
Sounds like Steve Bruce bigging up the oppo. Get ya excuses in now bonny lad for when Big Joe and Skinny Joe run in behind. Jokes. Pls win Eddie.
-
He absolutely should play the best players available to him every game. It'd be harsh but I'd be dropping Willock, keeping Longstaff in the 6 with Bruno/Joe ahead. We need proper width and overlapping runs at home to add to our threat, so Targett should be in ahead of Burn. Maxi won't be ready so I'm OK with Murphy or Fraser on the left - they're both equally just not that great.
-
Why can Chelsea spend this money (inc. what's gone out on Lukaku) yet we're supposedly bound by FFP constraints?
-
Nah, it's full of premium defenders with KDB, Son & Haaland too.
-
-
Genuine question, why are so many teams including Neto? His stats are usually average and quite likely Wolves will regress this season given how strong other teams are getting while they stand still.
-
If he wanted to be here, he'd have been here ages ago. Fuck him.
-
Tbf it didn't have owt to do with the Trust, I think everyone else has came out and disagreed. Also the guy isn't a board member apparently - not sure what the difference between board/council member is though?
-
We have a far bigger upgrade issues than ASM right now. I'd give him next season to see how it pans out and then sack him off the following summer if he's still doing the same.
-
I don't think they'll go down, but I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if they're around the 16-18th place mark during his time there before he's inevitably sacked.
-
Paul Lambert did it with Norwich too. Can't recall if ever happened in the Championship/PL era apart from those 2 instances.
-
Yesterday was one of his better games, but still almost stupidly played their goal onside. If Trippier is out for 6-8 weeks then pray to God that Manquillo is back in 1-2 weeks absolute max.
-
1-0 win, big Joe to score in the 93rd minute and celebrate by bending owa Douglas Luiz's lass right in front of him.
-
Are they classing that Lascelles cruncher tackle as an interception, like?
-
Agree 100% with this. We all know this improvement is form has a short lifespan and he absolutely should be improved on in the summer, but for now he's deserving of a starting spot over Willock who's played 45 minutes of good football this season.
-
I love ASM, but anyone trying to say he's better than Ben Arfa needs to give their head a shake.
-
I'm pretty sure it was Tiote tbh.
