After seeing this thread, I actually feel a lot less stressed. It’s helping me to make sense of it all. I booked a flight to London for me and the boy on a late night whim. Completely out of FOMO. There’s basically no chance I’ll have a ticket. I think the best thing will be to actually head to Newcastle with him, meet up with some people, hopefully do a fan park if there is one and not fire down to London unless by some miracle I get tickets

Two legged semi finals do funny things though. When they scored all of a sudden there was a thing to lose and I think that mindset filtered through to all of us and the players (even me sitting at home). The final, hopefully is a bit different, go there, go to win, nothing to lose, put it all on the line and be aggressive. Think it suits our mentality tbh.

It’s laughable how long this club has gone without a trophy considering how many other clubs have spawned a result over the years. No way am I going to get in a twist about which cup it is if we do. I’ll probably be halfway to the moon by then anyway
