I think this could be read both ways no? That he is putting a shift in but is still way off the pace in terms of what is needed to start games OR that he’s doing well I training and is ultimately not being used effectively. My point was more like the first option, like maybe he’s putting the effort in but is like a fish out of water / miles off the pace and looks a bit shite. Hearts may have had some shite managers but again to be fair they have done well in terms of player development recently so they might actually know what they’re talking about. It’s possible he’s just not as good as everyone says… Edit - regardless, it has been a waste of time for all concerned and we should really be looking at our loan system

I’m quite confident but obviously would rather Liverpool didn’t collect points. I’m actually more confident than I would be if I was a Man U fan right now. They have some tricky fixtures and flatter to deceive at times.

It’s just the standard criticism of players which basically comes down to just not liking a guy tbh. Done it myself with Murphy, but with the recent improvements the management have made to loads of our players with time and support, I’ve no idea why people feel the need to get on the lad’s case so early on.

Any other day the chat would be about him being on fire and scoring an absolute beauty to bins. But then Isak does that and the world goes bananas. He’s still the top boy and I think he recognises that the competition makes him better. Him and Isak together has the potential to be devastating.

I would be gobsmacked if Eddie hasn’t got these in the right mindset for this. The best sides in the league struggle to live with us at the moment, can’t see anyone in this team allowing the levels to drop.
