I can also back a fair bit of this up as an exiled Geordie living in Scotland for the past 18 years. Things are in a lot better shape football wise than they were a decade ago. McTominay is bobbins though ?

Out of interest, which of these players do you think would make any other top 4 side? It’s worth remembering that we are massively overachieving with the players we have. The years of underinvestment will take the equivalent number of years to repair. There is a window this season to sneak a top 4 but I think it’s only fans that worry about other teams tbh. Fair sure the people at the club are just focused on our own club’s improvement and doing things in the right way. We keep hearing about the process. If this is the process in very very happy with it.
