By far at the minute the best winger we have, should be starting more, looked much more a threat when he came on

Newcastle United vs. Crystal Palace: 4/1/26 @ 15:00 (Sky Sports)

Win today and we could be 7th/8th with Leeds then Wolves next, things could start to look a lot more promising. -
Teams know if they play a low block against us we are fucked. Manu had 5/6 defenders at points during the game and we couldn't break them down, had all the ball but once we got anywhere near the 18 yard box we shit ourselves, aye we had a load of shots but only two on target. Eddie is never gonna change up the tactics, should of had Wissa brought on alongside Wolte, not as a direct replacement. None of our wingers are creative at all, our best winger at the moment was sitting on the bench and got 20 mins, teams know play a low block against us and we are screwed. Really need a playmaker kinda winger. On to Burnley next, should be winning that but on our away form we will be lucky to come home with a point.

Newcastle United 2-2 Chelsea (20/12/25) | post-match from pg. 45

Ref and Var are joke but you can't play class in the first half and take the foot of the gas a bit in the second half. Silly mistake by Thiaw but he's been class all season. Gave it a good go to try and find the winner -

Sandro in for Willock Woltemade in for Wissa Hall if fit in for Tino or start Alex Murphy? What we reckon the teams going to be? -
Aye didn't ever think I'd say this but recalling Targett is a good idea. Though we really should be trying to sign a full back and a centre back as a minimum in Jan, should defo be money available

Tino Hall Tonali Woltemade could all probs do with a rest, interesting to see what team is tonight, probs can't rest Tino or hall unless maybe those goes to right back and lascelles comes in. With Eddie saying Wissa cant last a full 90 yet could see Gordon through middle but would rather Wissa starts and Woltemade to finish the rest of the game -

Injured apparently -
I'm not Howe Out and he does have credit in the bank after the cup win but there's only so long that credit can last. He deserves until the end of the season to turn this round and it is a transition season after losing Isak but he has to take full responsibility for this transfer window just gone, Elanga is shocking and we spent a fortune on Jacob Ramsay and he hasn't had much of a sniff. We've had past seasons of starting off poorly and then Eddie gets things clicking Away form has been dreadful and he deserves stick for yesterday as that was a pathetic performance but the players are all to blame for that as well. Really annoys me that he hasn't come out in the press after the game and bollocked the players as no one looked arsed, fairs he isn't one to throw players under the bus and is Mr Nice but says everything when Bruno has came out saying yesterday was embarrassing.
-
He is but hes shite, such a waste of money
-
Fucking pathetic performance, none of the twats can be proud of the selves! Embarrassing. Never want to see Elanga play again. Fuming

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
Geordie Magpie replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
There's been plenty of mistakes this season and the last couple of seasons hence the calls for him to be dropped, I'm sure a "highlight reel" of them was posted somewhere Maybe not so much mistakes but plenty of soft goals he could of done far better to save. Don't get me wrong he's an unreal shot stopper but he can't kick a ball and has quite a few mistakes in him. -
Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

There's been a good few but the Marseille one was the icing on the cake. Nothing will ever top running about 40 yards out of goal and handballing it the game before a cup final however. Think a new starting goal keeper is a big priority in the summer - odds on we go back in for Trafford -
We were by far the better team last night, just conceded two very poor goals, other than that spurs showed nothing. Last 3 prem games we've played much better and 7pts out of City Everton Spurs is a good haul even though it should be 9. Wissa back soon is going to be a huge bonus. Win against Burnley, get any result against Leverkusen and let's go into the derby with confidence and smash the mackems!

Everton vs. Newcastle United: 29/11/25 @ 17:30 (Sky Sports)
Geordie Magpie replied to HaydnNUFC's topic in Football
Ramsdale Tino Schar Thiaw Hall Bruno Tonali Joelinton Murphy Woltemade Barnes Eddie has to have some balls and drop Pope and not just bring Burn straight back into the Prem because he's available again. Can't sign a keeper in the summer, say there's now competition for Number 1 and then not give him a chance when the current keeper has made several massive errors! -
Few weeks of training get him up to speed and hopefully misses afcon and hits the ground running for us
