33M? Jolly good return on investment after only a year.
-
I think there are calculated risks. If they are in a bad position, they either seriously miscalculated or had plans that fell through and you cannot 100% know everything that will happen, right?
-
Jesse Marsch, didn't a lad on here call him Yank Lampard? That made me laugh out loud at the time.
-
Panama getting cards for laughs now.
-
Ah yes, nothing unexpected here. *sigh*. Why do I watch them?
-
To be honest it seems like they have tripled down on anything that might allow teams to get around the silly rules they put in place to ensure the Saudi's don't buy their way into many titles. It has gone to absurd levels now where anytime anything get's discussed in the media it elicits an immediate response unless it's from the chosen ones. I mean as a relative outsider this is many levels beyond the goofiest shit in sports I've seen, and from the biggest league in the footballing world no less. This isn't some league in a dictator run country doing what it wants, it's in jolly ole England and I'm frankly shocked at the silly shit the league has been spouting the last couple of years. And it seems like it is escalating.

Fucking hell, off the damn crossbar.

Works for me. For the record I've seen Peter more that Kasper in my life.
-
Just finished watching the game. England are stuck in neutral. Should have brought on Gordon earlier.
-
That would be excellent business.

Nice little finish on the far post. Very nice.

I like the idea of Minteh to Everton for 20M and paying 20M for DCL (who I do rate). Minteh with a 25M buy back clause so the end result would be a 25M transaction after seeing how the lad plays in the PL or a break even. That whole report was probably bullshit but it would make sense.

I see what you are saying but if you think the team is going for a shit player, are you not questioning the teams judgement and ability to run the team well? What well run team goes in for a SHIT player?

Irish lads on here, I have a question. My observations from very far away is that the sport popularity in the country is as follows: Hurling Gaelic Football Football Rugby Is this way off?
-
I am in favour of that.
-
You must concede the situation was desperate at the time though. Desperate times produce desperate measures.

I was disappointed he was hurt when Everton played a friendly in my hometown. I like the lad and hoped to see him play. Only Prem team I have ever seen live. As a total side note, I mentioned on here Gordon seemed to be the best player on the pitch that night despite the locals crushing Everton like 4-1 or something.
-
Yea, but if the 25M buyback is true they can see how does at this level and if he sucks and assuming it isn't a mandatory buyback they can move on. If he is a real talent they get him back. I rate DCL unlike some here but if the deal as mentioned earlier is the case I'd be OK with it. Lots of assumptions in that statement I made.

Just got the items dispatched from the club shop email so should be across the sea soon.

Seems like a solid take. Not going to win 4-0 every game.

I thought Stones was ok.

Just finished watching the games played today, recorded them. England was a bit shaky in the second half but a good three points. I saw the England thread was locked. Oh man. I love England myself and Great Britain at large too. Hope you lads do well the rest of the tournament.
