Either he's amazing and the rest of the team is rubbish or more recently the rest of the teams doing well and he's useless. It's as if we aren't allowed both, maybe the world would implode if we did.

Never rated him. He has benefited hugely from favourable draws and the football we play is awful. In the previous world cup we should have beat Croatia and I remember most of the goals we scored were set pieces or penalties. Wasn't impressed at the Euros either, Germany game aside which was very impressive. We had the best squad we've arguably ever had whilst Italy one of the worst they've had in years and still couldn't beat them. Think he gets a lot of leeway because he seems like a really nice guy and speaks well. Howe is a hundred times better as a manager though. If Southgate gets another club role he will be found out quickly.

Wilson is superior to Wood in almost every way.

We will never win anything with Southgate in charge. We might have had a chance had they employed Howe instead.

Not watching this as I'm currently in Brazil, don't feel too sorry for me but I'm assuming from reading this thread that Miggy is playing RW, he's never had a decent game there, he's bad enough on the left. Howes obviously done an amazing job but don't understand why he hasn't dropped Krafth.

Apart from his goal Fernandes has been rubbish.

Always quite liked Targett since his Southampton days. He's obviously underwhelming but a lot better than Dummett and Lewis.
