He is arguably the highest rated young striker left available on the market so although we are losing Isak if we can replace him with this lad then at least it shows we aren't totally useless in the market . Having said that I am convinced this is all setting up for a Man United gazumping.

Think he will pick Spurs sadly but if we could pull it off it's excellent business getting a second striker as good as he is for 30 million.

When you look at our current squad then he would definitely be a decent 4th/5th option in midfield but I would like to think we end up with better by the end of the window .

It's a bizarre transfer that , logically the only reason he would be desperate to go to Sunderland from Leverkusen would be a massive wage increase but then they don't appear to be paying massive wages these days and certainly not for a 32 year old . He must already be on a decent amount at Leverkusen as well.

Don't think Pep has ever had two bad seasons in a row, Man City will be the team to beat this season I think .

Is absolutely no chance we don't sign at least a couple more players mind , it would be gross incompetence to go into the season with this current squad .
