  1. I wouldn't be against it for 80 million , he clearly wanted to join them last summer and we will never know if it contributed to him having a poorer season than the one before but I think it did . I would be confident we could improve the squad with that money and if we do have to sell a purple eventually then he is the most disposable.
  2. At this moment in time the main thing Man United can offer that we can't is huge wages . We have a much better manager with a much better first 11 and are in the champions league . I know that eventually Man United will spend enough to get back to the top again but that's not going to be overnight so the lad isn't moving for that reason is he .
  3. I don't understand why he is arguing against any of this . Yes we all know Man United are a far bigger club than we are but they are a total mess at the minute and not in the champions league next season. They are blowing us out the water with wages on Mbeumo and that's the only reason he is signing for them, as aside from wages unless he is totally daft in the head their is literally no other reason why he would pick them at this moment in time . 99% of footballers will always go where the money is and we are being told Mbeumo isn't doing that.
  4. We aren't playing football manager here, we can't just go out and blast the majority of our budget on Bowen like you suggested. He is 29 this year and probably has about two good years left in him. We obviously wanted Mbeumo and Delap but Chelsea and Man United have blown us out the water with wages. What exactly do you mean that Eddie has to deliver? He's restricted with FFP and we can't just spend and buy whatever we want like our rivals can. We certainly can't pay the wages they can either . He brought us the likes of Tonali, Bruno, Isak and Botman so he has nothing to prove in the transfer market . Why should we have to sell Tino or Gordon which theoretically makes us weaker just so we can buy a few extra players who may or may not improve the squad ?
  5. I thought he was a regular at Arsenal, why is he out of contract?

    Alexander Isak

He's been fit for about 15 league games all season , we desperately need a half decent backup who can at least do the bare minimum when he can hardly move , it won't be easy finding someone that can do that though .
  7. Would have been absolute woke nonsense having a bloke in goal called Joan anyway.

It makes me laugh when they say this , they were happy to laugh at us and take the piss during the six in a row when we were literally being run into the ground by Ashley and dragged down to their level. Now all of a sudden it's not a fair fight anymore so the result is irrelevant .
  9. Have never understood the Ramsdale links , he's a worse goalie than Pope so is literally no point in buying him .

They were slating Bellingham at points last season and even this season. No wonder the lad is desperate to get away and hawing himself about all over Germany just hours after getting promoted .
  11. Be unbelievable business for Man United if they get 80 million for a 30 year old. It's an incredibly annoying deal as it should strengthen them massively if they spend it properly .

Yeah it's not a bad idea but they have basically gone from celebrating how much PSR has restricted us to now saying it's not fit for purpose .

The daft fuckers have spent the last few years praising PSR as it basically stops us being able to spend whilst all the other clubs around us can pretty much spend what they want . Now all of a sudden they are saying PSR isn't fair and a promoted club should be allowed a free year when PSR won't hinder them. They are saying the gap is too big for them to compete in this league without them being allowed to spend a fortune or they should just spend a fortune like Forest did and take the points deduction if it helps them stop up.
  14. Blowing my own trumpet alert but Man United top 6 and the Trippier one aside I was actually pretty close on a lot of the other stuff .
  15. Mbuemo is in the same category as Delap for me , we simply aren't going to be able to pay the wages they can get at say Man United or Chelsea so it's just not going to happen .

Let them have their moment, they get promoted we get champions league next day , is levels to this game .
  17. Says a lot that Sheffield will absolutely stink the league out next season if they get promoted but still look levels above Sunderland .
  18. This , top 5 was secured the second Bruno hit the back of the net against Chelsea.
  19. Confident we win this even is Isak is only half fit .
  20. Weird one , we paid 40 million for him coming back from a bad injury and he has proven how good he is since then. I reckon it would have to be double that amount for us to think about it but then again surely Man City aren't going to be paying that much for him.

I didn't see a single anti mackem flag when we got to Wembley, biggest game they have had for years and years and they are still obsessed with us . You can guarantee they will be signing about us if they are winning at any point as well.
  22. 5/2 Everton double chance which is basically the same as us not getting top 5. Either way you win or we get top 5. Got a nice chunk on the mackems pre playoffs at 5/2 which I obviously hope I lose .
  23. It's always been a big 5 + Spurs really . I think they were shoehorned in due to the new stadium and getting a couple of top 4 finishes . In reality before Ashley came along and ran us into the ground they were no bigger than us.
