Saying this now before the mad meltdown that will happen in this thread after our match is over today. We aren't getting anything away at Arsenal without Joelinton and Isak but it's irrelevant as we will still win next week so everyone needs to stay calm.

Isak hasn't been fit since before the cup final .

Forest winning isn't a bad thing anyway means they have motivation next weekend .

To be fair as much as I dislike Palace it's good for football than us and them won the domestic cups this season beating Liverpool and Man City .

I am resigned to the fact they are coming up now , have zero faith at all in Sheff United . They will still have a horror season and hate pretty much every minute of it. They will also end up hating everyone from the players to the manager but I would still rather they just stayed in the championship and had no chance of a fluke derby win.

Some of the posts and panic in here is crazy . I wonder if Villa and Chelsea fans are as hysterical as some of ours as they are both in much worse situations than us . We could get beat 5-0 tomorrow and nothing changes .

Would rather Man City won this , Palace can get fucked the way the fans were going on last summer over Guehi saying why would he go to a smaller club etc. They also think they are bastions of human rights for some reason.

Yep, it's been obvious for weeks now it was always going down to the last day and we needed to get to 69 points for a top 5 finish . The Chelsea game last week was always the key one and once we won that I stopped worrying if we would do it or not . No way this team throw it away at home to Everton on the last day .

We are ahead of Chelsea and Man City who have spent billions and only a point behind Arsenal who have spent a fortune as well despite us not buying a first team player for about two years. Every team has bad results during the season. To say we should have sewn up CL by now is wild . We are massively overachieving if anything .

Good player but we've done pretty well without him this season, it's not like he's going to be the difference between us finishing 5th and 6th in these last two games .

They may well get promoted but the next day we are likely to qualify for the champions league again two months after winning a trophy, is levels to this game .

A derby game now for us is a no win situation really . We are so much better than them that even if we win it's basically just job done but if we did only draw or got beat we would never hear the end of it.

I have zero confidence in Sheff United beating them , as limited as the mackems are they are clearly well organised and will just sit in and make it as tough as possible for them to score . The mackems have already beaten them this season as well.

I think it's pretty obvious he has some sort of injury . He has been poor for a while now and he's simply too good to be playing this badly without being injured .

Yeah at this point I think the likes of Ipswich and Leicester would have a better chance taking points off Chelsea and Villa than Spurs and Man United do. Don't want to tempt fate but It's done as dusted now as far as I am concerned , winning yesterday sealed it. Everton will be awkward but we are a much better team and no way will we throw away champions league on the final day by not beating them .

Be nice to win and go above them but this is basically a free hit after yesterday.

Nothing has changed really with that Villa result , we always needed to beat Chelsea and Everton to finish top 5, still in our own hands .

Sound like a broken record but Villa were always going to be a threat with the fixtures they had left, we win tomorrow and it shouldn't matter. Anything less and we aren't finishing top 5.

To be fair if Villa do finish above us they will have won 9 out their last 10 league games with the only loss being that late defeat at Man City . As long as they don't win tonight it shouldn't happen but if they do win we need to get another 6 points as they will be playing Spurs and Man United reserves after that .

Results so far mean Bournemouth will need to win tonight which can only be a good thing .
