No sorry, I mean next week would be Schar/Botman/Burn and then when we revert back to 2 CBS it will be Schar and whichever one of Botman/Burn plays best next week

For us to get anything from this game we need to revert from our current style I think. It will need to be 5 at the back and 11 men behind the ball most of the time in order to close the spaces they will look to play through. We scored a lot last year from set pieces and I think they will be key to our chances of scoring here. however Howe could shock me and stick with the 433 and take it to them, I’m just not sure we have the attacking quality to go toe to toe with them.

There was a moment in the 1st half where he stepped up out the line, won the ball as soon as the Brighton player touched it and played it straight through the midfield to Wilson’s feet. Burn has done nothing wrong and they are both defensively sound, but Botman for me can probably create things in an attacking manner that Burn can’t, so he would get the nod for me.

Still think next week we go 3 at the back, and then whoever is better out of Botman/Burn keeps the shirt.

Got a feeling he might start Longstaff instead of Willock today. With the weather the way it is, willocks energy fresh off the bench could be very useful in the second half.

If we have aspirations of finishing 7th then these are the games we need to be winning. Although Brighton won today I’d back us if we perform like yesterday. We’d have stuffed that Manure team 2/3-0 today I think

I agree with you but I think Howe will change it.

I think Howe might switch to 3 at the back vs City. We went to 3 at the back when Botman came on today, I know it wasn’t for long but he took up the central position with Burn to his left and Schar to his right. Against City/Liverpool I think we will go with this.

Be interesting to watch them tomorrow, I imagine they will not sit back as much as forest so whilst we will need to defend more, there should be a bit more space going forward. if we play like we did today I’m confident we can get 3 points.

I have a feeling that Burn/Schar might happen however it makes no sense to me. We’ve chased Botman for over 6 months, finally got him. He doesn’t need a bedding in period as he’s had a full pre season, and it’s clear from pre season games that his passing from the back will be a real asset. For me he has to start.

Reading between the lines it looks like Leicester would rather lose Maddison than Fofana.

Very unlikely but we could always try and loan Ekitike from PSG (I know he was one for the future but if we feel he could add an impact this season, it would benefit us, and may also benefit PSG if they feel he would get game time) however as he has turned us down I don’t expect we would take him even if he wanted to come

I mean we obviously will sign attackers, whether we all are happy with whoever they may be is a different question, but I’d be gobsmacked if we get to September 1st without at least 1 forward signed
