More saliva than a stamp licking competition.
  2. Tommy Cassidy has passed according to NUFC.com. We're sorry to report the passing of former Magpie Tommy Cassidy, at the age of 73. The Northern Ireland international made a £25,000 switch from Glentoran in his native Belfast during October 1970, debuting in a 0-2 defeat against Southampton at the Dell the following month. That would be the first of 239 senior appearances in all competitions over the next decade, before moving on to join Burnley for the 1980/81 season. Originally a striker he became a regular in midfield, finishing on the losing side for the Magpies at Wembley in the 1974 FA Cup Final and 1976 League Cup Final. Cassidy's 28 league and cup goals included a brace in a 3-2 home win over Manchester United in 1973 and six in his final season, memorably rounding off a 3-1 derby victory at Gallowgate on New Years Day 1980. A late flourish for the Clarets included winning the Third Division title and appearing for Northern Ireland at the 1982 World Cup Finals, the last of his 24 caps as substitute in the epic 1-0 wins over hosts Spain. Ending his playing days in Cyprus with Apoel Nicosia, Tommy's managerial career began there before spells in charge of Gateshead, Glentoran, Ards, Sligo Rovers, Workington, Newcastle Blue Star, Whitby Town and Blyth Spartans - leaving Croft Park in October 2012. 2021 brought the sad news that Tommy had been living with dementia since 2017.

With Isak and Wilson’s injury records over the last two seasons he’ll see plenty of pitch time.
  4. Yeah - getting a GDPR ‘no go’ message.

I’ve got flashbacks of Stevie T now. Completely erased it from the memory bank!
  7. The club gambled in January not taking bids for the players they are struggling to shift now. Thems the breaks.

Is he really wearing that shirt?
  10. Jesus wept that’s poor. Like a Primark effort of dad jokes.
  11. South Alabama Jaguars and Texas A&M-Commerce Lions. Yanks and their names lad.
  12. City can afford him. Barcelona will need to find some more “financial levers” e.g. selling more of their future revenue streams to bring him in.
  13. The Liverpudlian press agenda on this is minging. Client journos assemble…
  14. @Froggy makes good points on their injuries, they have had it bad, that much is true. World’s smallest violin though given the amount of money they’ve hoyed at transfers, wages, agents fees, scouting networks, plus a worldwide army of plastics throwing money at them and a Youth Cup 2022 winning team to bring players through from like Garnacho and Mainoo.
  15. I think he’ll do well. Trippier-esque signing from Simeone.
  16. He’ll be reheating the DCL rumour, don’t worry.

Fucking gimp. “Looks set to join”, “not saying he’ll join or it’s even close, don’t know fuck all matey…”
  18. Lewis Hall, Ian Maatsen, Omari Hutchinson - there’s the thick end of £80m in sales already.
  19. He doesn’t do transfers, he’s a misty-eyed ‘all the feels’ article writer, not a transfer type. Waugh is neither.
  20. Absolute waxwork looking fraud of a human. Full baby momma monster mentality right there.
