Definitely was glad Rafa went to Everton because think a fresh start was the best for the club and now we have that with a better brand of football.

I really don't think he is fine. I honestly think he's poor. -

Seriously hope Bruno starts today like it will make me a lot more confident of a win. -
We were on opposing sides and had historical disagreements for sure but something must have changed in recent history like 50 years or so. I've heard loads of story's of older generations going to Newcastle home games one week and then Sunderland home the following week and a rivalry not really existing then. So something definitely changed I'm just not sure when I'm thinking maybe 70s or 80s? Maybe some of the older posters know more.

Would just keep it about the team and current players to avoid these type of disagreements, it's a positive thing and wouldn't do anything that can change that. -

If you take draws at home to bottom half teams you'll always be in a shit position. Not saying a draw would be the end of the world but saying you'd take one before the game is ridiculously negative they've just conceded 3 goals against Leeds. -

Taking a draw before the game? we're playing villa ffs not Man City. What kind of craic is that. -
If Norwhich and Burnley get beat and with Watford loosing it's still a good weekend for us especially if we get something tomorrow.

If Bruno starts I think we'll win, if he doesn't I'm not confident. Think we need an extra edge against these and he has it. -

Manquillos been spot on recently suggesting playing Murphy instead of him is mental tbh. -
Seen Howe's post match interview and he spoke about the importance of winning the ball in the oppositions half, think thats what Bruno will be doing and will be our most offensive midfielder.
-
I think so too if the season started now with the new signings and everyone fit and Howe getting a full pre season we would finish top half I think. So with new signings on top of that top 6 is definatley achievable.

Really shouldn't be worried too much about the its harsh to drop players arguement for me like. The club comes first and we need to select the best team available to win the game. Simply put are we more likely to win with Bruno starting or not? So start him no matter what for me. -
Keanes stint at Sunderland isn't really comparable to Keegans at Newcastle though is it ?
-
Just read one of them say missing out on Roy Keane is liking winning the euro millions then loosing the ticket ? i just dont get it at all.

Coutinho looked shit hot last night unfortunately like. -
If the season started from now I'd fancy us top half above Brighton and Southampton etc so have to fancy us to stay up comfortably.

These won't be able to deal with Bruno. -
We really need to be looking up the table now no reason we can't finish ahead of Leeds, Brentford and Everton. We are in good form and still haven't seen all of our new signings yet.

Doesn't really work though does it they all went on to have good careers Ben Afra hasn't got himself back out of a poor French league. So the Messi comparisons are lost on me sorry. -

Why didn't PSG keep him then If he was that good? And I didn't bring him up, the constant wankathon over him on here just bemuses me.
