  1. Gerrard Totti Le Tissier Scholes John Terry Jamie Carragher Jack Charlton Maldini all say ?
  2. Just a thought but could we not use one of the stadiums in Qatar for home games ? Most of them are being demolished , so I can’t see why not ? It’s only a 7 hour flight time from London.??
  3. I read it like It's been publicised just about everywhere so can't see that. Your mate must just be a helmet
  4. Fan parks wouldn’t work in the town for home games , as the tv feed/ delay would mean you hear the real crowd roar a few seconds before we score ??

  7. Looked like it yes , although as things progressed they brought a guy along with a boat and he suggested sailing up the Tyne and loading them on the boat (two by two)
  8. Ps - the ducks were hungry
  9. They have already started to knock the buildings down behind the east stand , work should be finished by the end of the season. Apparently it’s a secret but when I went to feed the ducks at leazes park today , virtually all of the buildings had been demolished and they had put up all the scaffolding to start the new tier above the east stand.
  10. I would still prefer the lad at Munchengladbach (Kone)
  11. Almiron on fire However 1. He will get injured(at some point) 2. He needs competition 3. He can’t cross with his right 4. Need better if we want to compete amongst Europe’s elite Having said that , I love his hard work , love his relationship with Trippier and his goals have been priceless and I wouldn’t drop him , I would bring in competition for each wing (or a player that can do either wing)
  12. Nope , Just a member Bought 4 memberships in the summer for the family. I have been able to get tickets for every match so far. Best £90 I’ve spent (2 adult / 2 junior memberships) If we can add on 10,000 to St James park , I think that’s enough. Liverpool have done ok with 54,000 capacity Man City , 60,000? Arsenal 60,000
  13. RB Leipzig have a superb squad of exceptional talent ? NKUNKU GVARDIOL DANI OLMO DAVID RAUM AMADOU HAIDARA
  14. Yes - left footed but as you mentioned , it could still work I’ve seen lots of (both) right footed (centre half) partnerships over the years. Either Way , having both in the squad would be incredible
  15. Whoever gets him are laughing for 10+ years for one of their central defensive positions. Imagine him and Botman together- building a partnership up for multiple years
  16. I couldn’t disagree more Absolutely no way would I want to leave St James Park We don’t need the extra revenue from 10,000 or 20,000 seats Money comes from sponsorship , commercial, Tv , champions league , etc If we can get to 60,000 at St James park that’s enough Bigger crowd / More people doesn’t always mean better atmosphere. Ive been to games at St James park with 25,000 ( Leeds 5-2 , Micky Quinn 4) which have been better than 52,000 at a league game. Our ground is unique , we need to keep some of our heritage / tradition and turn St James Park into a fortress Yes it would be great if we can extend the ground and I am all for it , but 70,000 is not needed. 60,000 at St James Park , with 15,000 standing area and we are good to go ??
  17. Best centre half at World Cup Josko Gvardiol - 20 year old Croatian defender Would love him - think he’s at RB Leipzig Monster Talent - probably valued at £60m now I’ve also liked the look of Portugal winger - Rafael Leao 23 year old at Ac Milan huge price tag though ? £75m ?? Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat CDM at Fiorentina value £20m ? Cody Gakpo -Psv lots of clubs looking at him Obviously a huge talent valuation - £50/£60m ?? David Raum German left back - RB Leipzig !!!! £25m great player , ideal for us
  18. Yes you are correct , they need to win the league to go up which will put them in Norther premier league (tier 3) Next Step up is the (Championship) tier 2 Then…. WSL (tier 1) So it’s not that much of a trek in regards to the number of divisions (should they go up this year) However in terms of quality they will need to add 3/4 signings in the summer to get out of The Northern premier league (tier 3) To be honest they played 3 or 4 teams all from the league above in pre season and matched them all despite not picking up the results they would have liked. When they get to the championship- it is likely they will go ‘full time’ and you will see a dramatic improvement anyway. You will then see better quality signings and it will all snowball.
  19. Doesn’t mean much to be fair Football is a team game Newcastle ‘as a team’ play better football than England and work harder , we also have a better manager / better tactics Player for player we might be slightly worse , but football isn’t played on paper
  20. Last year it was just pay on the day (no tickets available online) and 22,000 turned up imagine 10,000 turned up this Sunday could be looking at 37,000 ?
  21. No the milburn is open too , they’ve sold lots of hospitality in that area and the lower milburn areas have been sold …. (locked/sold out) I think the higher part of the milburn stand is open to the public (pay on the day) gallowgate - sold out east stand - sold out lower half of the Leazes on the way to being sold out.
