Would Man Utd even sell him to us? And if they did it would be an enormous mark up surely. That alone would be reason enough to steer clear. He'd be a decent squad player who could fill in now and then as cover for injuries and in early round cup games but as far as I'm concerned we already have 2 of those in his positon, so I'm not onboard with this.
-
Does this not happen every summer with him. There's always rumours that he'll leave but never does. He'd be a fantastic addition but I don't see it happening. Feels like a Spurs signing.
-
I don't see it myself. There's no way our top 2 targets for that position are a crock and a Forrest player. Rumours mean very little nowadays.
-
I reckon he carries on with his strange penguin like celebration. It's unique.
-
I think Nevilles point about the other clubs fighting for top 4 having more experience in this run in is a bit silly really. However I would say that they do still have an advantage over us in all having much better squads/benches to choose from and affect games/cover injuries, so that could well make a difference. Only have to look at who we'd have to replace Trippier to know that.

Thought exactly that when watching the Leeds highlights, seems decent and still only 19. Would be a good player for Howe and Co to develop.
-
Guerreiro (LB), Terrier (All front 3 positons), Laimer(CM/CDM) Those would be the 3 at the top of my list and they would fill all our problem slots. None of them would cost the earth either and they are all around thier peak right now.

I'm all for the multi club stuff. I'd love to be watching an A League/MLS etc game and actually have a real interest in those players playing and how they progressed.
-
I think it's definitely a possibility. England lack players like Willock, that's why Gallagher gets in there. Henderson won't be in these sqauds much longer, someone needs to replace him in the next year or so and Willock would be a smart choice.
-
That would put us on 65 points. That wouldn't be enough for top 4 based on the last 3 seasons but we'd only potentially need 2/3 more points to do it.

I think that's the biggest indicator of whether it's should've been given. If that happens to Isak and its not given we are all up in arms about it. For what it's worth, I'm not sure it matters whether Jimenez is "looking for it" or whatever people want to call it. Pope fucks up and leans into him whilst doing his best to not make it obvious, but that should be given and I'm shocked VAR didn't give it.
-
I do agree with most on here that this feels like Isaks time to step up now. He's going to get plenty of starts from now on and he'll get alot of chances, he just needs to keep scoring. Wilson will end up being third choice CF next season and that will probably suit him with his injury record. If we get Europe he'll have a massive part to play in the sqaud.
-
I'm missing Joelinton already. A clean sheet would be a start, real shame we've started conceding more over the last few games and not even scoring more. Its going to be close, probably 1-0.
-
Would be incredibly tough to take if these lot were to beat us again. Before Bournemouth I was confident of a good result (win or deserved draw) but now I do worry about what may happen with the possibility of a few key players being out injured for this.

That's a strange statistic to use considering there were no games played in December and only 2 in November. They've played 6 since World Cup, lost 3 and drawn 3. They've only just in the last couple of weeks made new signings who presumably were ones who would fit into the managers system (particularly Weston Mckennie). So to me it seems strange they've not given him the opportunity with a fresh sqaud and not actually being in the bottom 3 to get them to the end of the season at least.
-
Anything but a win will feel horrific. ANY win will do but ideally a clean sheet and 3+ goals is what I want.
-
That's a ridiculous decsion I think. Should've kept him, I think they would've been fine. Can't see them doing any better with anyone else.
-
Come on, I know Longstaff has been decent recently but obviously Rice gets in this team ahead of him, there's not debate about that is there.
-
Spurs lose and all is well. Next 2 are even bigger now. Liverpool game is more winnable than ever.
-
And ASM and Almiron and about time Botman fucking scored also.
-
You'd hope West Ham aren't one of the teams that will come here and sit back, you can understand why Bournemouth/Crystal Palace/Leeds do it but West Ham are far more capable than them and should be higher up the league really. I reckon this game will suit us far more than the last few home games have done.

I'm not desperate for Adidas for take the reigns but they'd certainly be better than Castore. It'll only be one of Nike or Adidas, can't see anything else happening.
