Exactly - he's a step up from what we have and will fill a gap til Wilson gets back (or we get someone new in). -

Agree,,,,but we could sign someone else by end of Jan - this is an emergency measure. he might not score the goals but he's a distraction for defenders. -

I think it's Eddie using his Burnley connections - just like Gerrard has done with Coutinho. If it gets us out the shit in the short term I'm good with that. We can look for better players all over going forward, but right now we need something for Saturday. -

I'm still bemused as to why he came up by train - hasn't he got a feckin car? And it looks like he was in second class!! -

Given our predicament and situation I'm amazed at the negativity on here. We desperately needed a striker/target man for Watford and we've got one. Well done to our new owners - super fast reaction to Wilsons injury. -

I was taking the piss out of the post above about Ekite being born in 2022....it was a rip on the famous quote by Alan Hansen!! lol

You'll never win anything with youngsters.

Newcastle United vs Watford: 15/01/22 @ 3pm (No UK TV)

Stop panicing man. Do you not have internet feeds? We're gonna spend £300m and have at least 15 players coming in this week!! -
Totally agree, I posted the same thing a few days ago. I was really looking forward to the January window for the first time in years but all the rubbish linking us with everyone has become boring and annoying. As of last week someone calculated around 75 names we had been linked with....absolutely fucking ridiculous.

Mandy and hubby's company brokered the deal. I read somewhere it was something to do with that.

Pleased you enjoyed your visit to Newcastle and as disappointed as I am I can't begrudge you your win....you rode your luck at times but deserved the win. -
It's fucking torture all this media talk, we're linked with everyone.
-
It's probably been said before (I can't read a 1000 posts!) but surely the main reason to buy Chris Wood would be to relegate Burnley?
-
Correction - I should have said Jon Bon Shelvey and all our other mediocre players will soon be a thing of the past. Future signings will be of a much higher calibre.
-
No worries....Jon Bon Shelvey will soon be a thing of the past.

These are very early days in a long term project plan being run by people who know what they are doing. The "project" will bring success like we have never experienced. Despite yesterdays result the future of Newcastle United has never looked brighter or better.
-
Certainly didn't want Emery, he's crap and he looks too much like Dracula.
-
Yep, I know we're all mega disappointed but it's very early days in "the project" and better days lie ahead.
-
Worth noting there was only one EH/new regime signing today, it's going to take time to ship out the crap but the quality of signings going forward gives us cause for optimism.
