It's like a said before, all of the new signings are of a similar ilk, attitude and mentality. Good, solid, level headed and reliable pros. They have all referred to the "project" or the "vision" or the "ambition". Whatever the club is selling to them, they are buying into it and prepared to fight for the cause. They may vary in ability and skill.... but they are all here for the right reasons. Truly exciting times.

BTW, Dan Ashworth, like all our signings, is shite according to RTG

I don't think Leeds died in 1973..... I'm pretty sure they are still alive and well and in the Premier League, unlike the mighty Sunlun who are languishing in the third tier of English football. I see they are now complaining about the choice of Ref for the big game against that powerhouse of English football, Cheltenham on Tuesday night. They claim the Ref is a Mag and should be banned from refereeing their games.....honestly, you couldn't make it up!!

My gut feeling is we will beat Everton and be out the relegation zone on Tuesday night. Also think we can get a result (draw?) at Villa. I have always been 100% confident we would stay up following the takeover. This is where it starts. Norwich, Burnley and Watford are fucking woeful....and Everton, Leeds and Brentford could all still be dragged into it...... I have complete faith that the current squad, vastly improved by the new signings, will keep us up.

I think Shelvey has had a bit of a resurgence under Howe and with better players around him now he will get better.....but I think he will be sold off at the end of the season as we go on another, more structured recruitment campaign...... but he will do a job for now.

Ok, I confess....I gave it a 10/10....fucking delighted.....watch the first interviews with the new boys Targett and Burn - level headed professionals....add on Bruno and Trips......Wood will improve with the added quality (as with all the team).....ok, we missed Lingard and Ekiteke....but neither was through lack of trying. Everything is moving in the right direction, this is just the beginning. We are the highest spenders in our first window under the new owners....that's a fucking statement of intent. Manure are truly a club in decline, now resorting to tactics like this. The fact they have strung along us and West ham shows how scared they are and shown their true colours. And treating a long serving player like Lingard like this is despicable......their fans should be well and truly ashamed of their once mighty team, who are soon to be also rans. Always hated them and hope we get the chance to fuck them over as soon as possible.
