  1. I didn't realise groups of 20 pissed up dickhead thugs could just turn up and be admitted to Glastonbury, let alone have access to the performing artists in order to bray them. I thought it was a bit more middle class than that. Macca' s turned 80 and even he could still kick the shite out of 20 soft knob mackems.
  2. He must be a MLF, he even makes and sells his own blue pop.
  3. Brilliant signing - I'm so pleased we've signed him on a 4 year deal and a bargain at £12m.
  4. It's gonna be funny a fuck watching them now, first we got the transfer window to look forward to (Jermaine Defoe anyone?)......and then them getting fucking smashed off non entities week in, week out, in the newly named "Champo' (not to be confused with 'Wembo').....it will be fucking great, as we get better and better they will be fighting the league 1 trapdoor.....here's hoping it opens nice and wide!
  5. The summer window is going to be worse than the January window, it will be interesting to see how many players we are linked with this time - it's already doing my head in. My coping strategy is not to believe owt until they're having the medical but I have full confidence in the club now. I'm already buzzin with excitement and anticipation for next season, can't fucking wait
  6. Using it as an excuse to get out for his own reasons.
  7. They must be the red flags which mysteriously never appeared for their Wembo flag display.
  8. We must be watching a different player
  9. As I commented about 100 posts ago on this thread Tarkowski is gash. Watched him closely since we were linked with him last December, he's no better than what we have including captain calamity!!
  10. Had to google what a haiku was - I'll just agree
  11. Yeah, I think it's always going to be a fine line.
  12. Yes, I didn't know the figures/breakdown but knew the would be fairly irrelevant in the great scheme of things.
  13. Nah, I think the sponsorship deals etc are expected - this is almost like flying their flag in public.
  14. Schmeichel would be good. Lingard would have been good in January but not now. Tarkowski is gash.
  15. We will be ridiculed at away grounds. Promoting the KSA in the faces of of premier league crowds and the English media will backfire badly. I don't think shirt sales revenues in KSA is a genuine rationale and I am a tad uncomfortable about NUFC being used in this way. Hopefully they will realise the errors of their way and it will be short lived - like when fat Mike renamed SJP. That said I quite like the design - if they changed the green to blue/maroon it would be a nice shirt.
  16. Dynasties in English football. Shankly - Liverpool Ferguson - Man Utd Howe - Newcastle (to be confirmed)
  17. Can everyone not just take a leaf out of our intellectual and sophisticated neighbours book and be 'marras'
  18. I supported Newcastle when the nearest thing we had to a 'Keegan' was the numerous Keegan hotdog stands on the way to the ground in a very dark, foreboding and in them days, very grimy Newcastle. It was so gloomy lads had to wear white butchers jackets to be seen. People spat on coppers when they came in the crowd to sort out the regular outbursts of 'Geordie aggro', Harry Roberts was our friend and it was quite normal to be hit with a firework or have someone piss on your leg. On the plus side you could buy peanuts from lads walking around the pitch. Annoyingly although I could smell the sweet malty odour from the brewery I was too young to get served in a pub. I think it was 25p to get in the Gallowgate and 30p for the Leazes - I've always assumed the extra 5p was for the luxury of the tin roof which provided a huge climbing frame, together with the floodlights, for some of our supporters. People standing on the crush barriers (easy in the Gallowgate cos they were flat concrete, slightly more risque in the Leazes cos they were metal poles) and chants which these days would genuinely have you arrested. Fortunately time has moved on and the matchday experience now (city, fans, stadium, food etc) is a thousand times better. Would I want to go back? Not a fucking chance.
  19. Their fans are still supporting Abromovich........ I hope whoever buys them fucks them over like Ashley did with us.
  20. I'm gonna say 10 and I guess Exile will be in there

    Dan Burn

Brilliant - has been touted for an England call up and deservedly so, much better than Maguire.
  22. Two horse race between Eddie and clip Klopp.
  23. There's going to be a lot of media focus on this game and a lot of discussion on ownership, including ours - I see we have been briefly mentioned on Sky, BBC, GBNews and social media when discussing Abramovich/Chelski. Chelsea as a club will be fine, no one including the government, would want to see them go bust or out of business. They are a fashionable London based football institution who have flown the flag in Europe and around the world. A buyer will be found but I doubt they will be as generous as Abramovich. I can see them being another Spurs/Arsenal type - good, but not quite good enough. At some point, together with City and Liverpool, we will take their place at the top table. Regarding the game itself, I reckon we could win this - Chelsea will be up for it, as will the crowd, but they might be just a little over eager and make mistakes - it could get a bit tasty!
