Every time I say his surname my sofa levitates...

I'll never forget the majestic chip over Jen's Lehman's head... Even O'Shea looked surprised

Oh, please. Chelsea give away £110M, Brighton buy Lavia for £50M and make £60M profit and Liverpool left high and dry EDIT: it can't happen, it's too good!
-
Liverpool taking 3 bids to get to 45M for Lavia and are caught wanting to chuck around 111M on Caicedo.

Will love it if he blames Saudi Arabia for inflating market prices too, given half his team was sent over there
-
Kind of, but their options are limited due to the relegation and everyone will know that..

But you'd think that the Rice transfer includes the standard "English Player Tax"....
-
It's crazy. When you compare the fee to Bellingham, Rice, or even Kanes agreed price, 110M is insane...

HA! 110m... Now let's hear from Klopp how they can't spend money and compete, the hypocritical knob

I always thought Kane had no intention of leaving but was using interest from other PL clubs, Bayern and PSG as a negotiation tactic with Levy to either A) Get more money himself B) Strengthen the team around him...

Wonder what the odds are for Luton, Sheffield United and Wolves to go down? Pretty nailed on. Brilliant news for the likes of Burnley and Everton.

Very true RE: FFP. Good point. Not many player + cash swaps these days. But don't see them taking advantage of the FFP freedom the £105M provides, like what Villa did with the Grealish money...

Rumor this morning that West Ham want him to replace Cresswell. But part of me thinks if that was true, they'd have tried 85M + Tierney for Rice...? Before accepting the £105M

LB or CB I assume. If we get a LB, we can move Burn inside as cover. Not ideal but Rome wasnt built in a day...

Reporters dying to inflate our prices to push the narrative we're spending wildly. BBC reporting 40M...

According to the BBC, Eddie Howe in the press conference gave no indication on Tino Livramento’s potential arrival at the club saying "I am slightly in the dark on that but I certainly like the player." I take that to mean he's already with the squad, refereeing the final of Teqball between Big Joe and Bruno...

Nor do I, FWIW but understand the line of thinking and why people would make the claim. I just don't think he's an Eddie Howe type player (i.e skillset on AND off the ball), or at least, in the system he wants us to play.
-
Probably that FFP has limited our spending and made the turnover of players slower? Same could be said for half our team. All ifs, buts and maybes, though.
-
Was the only glimour of hope in many a dark day. I'll always hold special memories of him. We're heading in a different direction, but wish him nothing but happiness.

Totally see your point, but surely the players fitness and availability are (key) factors when considering their value to a club?
