I'd love a nasty shite arse of a striker. Like Bellamy, Suarez, Costa ... Someone who's an absolute b*stard to play against. Sometimes that's all it takes to make the ball stick and open up space for ASM, Gordon, Isak etc.

In fairness to him, he had 2 players in the buildup of the entire goal. He was gesturing for Gordon or Bruno to pick up the other.

Just read about the terrible news of six year old, Milly-Rose, passing. That's what the round of applause was for on 6 minutes. The young girl complained of stomach ache and 12 hours later, she had passed away from what is believed to have been sepsis. Tragic news. Can't imagine the grief her parents and family are going through. Horrific.

Thanks mate. I've already checked and got about 200 hotels in the Newcastle area on a spreadsheet. I'll reach out to each of them and agree some flexibility, so we're not stung. The link is really useful. A mid November game will be confirmed mid September? That gives our lads 6 weeks to book their flights...

Right, here goes... Meeting you all has definitely given me an incentive to try and put together a bigger, longer and better 'event' later this year. This time, it'd be nice to see more of you and give you all more time to make travel plans and request leave from work (especially the lads flying in from the US). With that all said, I'm planning on reaching out to the club and requesting the reservation of X tickets to a home game in October or November 2023. This will mean we can sit together at SJP and not have the fear of getting tickets, or not. Speaking to some of you, there was interest in staying in the same hotel (we can book multiple rooms and get cheap rates) and turning the event into a long weekend. That can include those coming from around the UK, and further afield. In addition to the hotel and game, I'd attempt to arrange several activities (short trip to Whitley Bay, crazy golf, interactive darts, go karting etc) and drinks at different bars and meals out during every evening. Essentially, three of four days of fun and content. So who would be interested in reserving a place? No obligation by registering intent to come, but if there's any chance of you attending please register. Please comment back with...
