Great player. Looks like he has been in this league for ages -

Yea, no complaints. I think ref had quite little to do actually, wasnt an ugly game or anything. -
We are playing them next IIRC.

Some day we will win Dagenham and Redbridge in FA Cup 3rd round by 90+7 own goal, without a shot on target, and this thread will have people saying ”win is a win”.
-
I understand this. I also understand there is no point to analyse a game if we lose to Sunderland. Playing well there does not matter. it was a great game as an entertainment, but I doubt that many would disagree with me if that had ended 3-3, which was very close. I was just thinking ahead, how we will continue to climb up the table. We have to win these home games this season.

Yea the league is quite weird. Spurs are turboshit and only 5 points of UCL places.
-
I enjoyed it. But was just worried about future. This great win doesnt help by any means when we draw with Wolves or something. A team we should beat.
-
Totally, but that is not what I am saying. What I said was: I dont want him gone, but I hope he changes our way of play so that we control the game a bit more. but apparently it was blasphemy.
-
The result is great. I am over this game by tomorrow so not going to write about it. But what I dont get is: lose a game (no matter how we play) —>”Howe out, he is shit, no plan b” win a game (no matter how we play) ->”what a legend, stfu you whiners” Makes no sense to me.
-
Really? I think if we lose, play well and are just unlucky then that is certainly a good thing. Then there are these things called draws…

Bruno F once scored a penalty against Brighton when the game was already over. Just checked was 90+10. -
OK. I will whine if we win or lose if we play poorly.
-
So because we didnt, then that is fine? Doesnt really work like that. Scousers won at SJP and I dont think many were happy about that performance.
-
What I am saying is that when we totally lack control of the game and give too much turnovers, these poor teams will get results from us. Same happened with Palace they had plenty of chances to score and today could have gone either way in the end. Great result in the end, but dont let it mask the problems in our game.
-
This time we got maximum, but games LIKE this. Could have easily dropped points against Palace already
-
Will not see next week I guess.

I thought both pens were correct. Aaronson jumped with his hands high and Thiaw moved his arm towards the ball. I dont like the rule, but both are surely given. -
Fabian Schär - signs a one year contract extension on reduced terms (Official)

I thought his ankle got caught between DCL's legs. So either ankle or ACL. -
I don't want him out, but we keep dropping points in games like these when it turns into a basketball game.
-
He really needs to be told to do the basics. Stay as a 6, don't venture around the pitch. He must be the one mopping up when Joelinton and Bruno and our overeager fullbacks are nowhere to be seen.
-
True captain. Is carrying the team at the moment.

Entertaining yes, for a neutral surely. But as a Newcastle fan horrible to watch. -

Of course it is, because our players are runners first. There is not single drop of passing ability outside Bruno in our front 6.
