Cucurella must be on a pretty big wage in Chelsea. They need to sell, but will not sell Gallagher most likely. Seems a nothing rumour.
-
No need for left wingers at all. Even if we sell ASM, I would still buy right winger first...
-
I think it is obvious: we need club trained players for UCL squad.

This maybe a dumb question, but at least the topic is then correct. I have interesting piece of Hungarian (and English) football history, and I decided to offer it to some museum to their exhibition. I found this https://www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/exhibitions/ferenc-puskas-worlds-greatest-goalscorer/ but I don't know if that is still open. Is that like the biggest football related museum in England? Hungary did not seem to have any football museum, only sports in general. Hopefully the photo is good enough, but it is a matchday programme from December 1954 with Hungarian players autographs. Wolves vs Kispest Honved.

Most likely younger guy and not a big name. Same goes to striker, might well get an option there for cheap. Wilson is injured a lot.
-
Why would we be after Thuram anymore? Would cost something like 50 million and we need right winger more. Szobo is a totally different player.
-
Seems idiotic, given that Haaland will break that record if he stays at City in few years..
-
You mean new deal or with Bayern?
-
I think we have to forget players like Raphinha. These players would have to take a paycut to come to Newcastle, and I just do not see that being very realistic.
-
I think Tonali and Maddison were the options for the same spot. So when we got Tonali, cant really say we missed on Maddison. He is not a winger in Howe's 4-3-3.
-
And i hate that "proven in PL" thing, because it really does not mean a thing. Football is not that different in top level. Chris Wood is proven in PL, and you can easily find 50 better strikers that are cheaper from the continent. Yes, Mount is pretty young and English, and knows the league and culture and all that. He will not need time to adapt. Mount has had one very good season, and couple of average ones. His stats are pretty much similar to Harvey Barnes', who has been playing in a poor team. Sterling cost less than Mount, and his numbers are totally different. IMO same thing that with players like Phillips, Maguire etc. As soon as English player shows some kind of promise, prices skyrocket. I think he will do ok for ManU, but he is not a world beater. Just like Barnes is not. Wages are ridiculous.

Szobo will certainly take Henderson's place. So they will line up in possession: Diaz - Gakpo - Salah MacAllister - Szobo Fabinho - TAA Robertson-VVD-Konate Allison Nunez is the odd man out. Seems like a bust at the moment. Strong attacking line up that, and strong bench. I would guess that they will concede a lot again though.
-
I really don't know what people see in Mount. Goes missing a way too often. Has the legs that Eriksen does not have, but passing is lot worse. If he would be let's say German or Dutch player, price would be half of that max.

Norway take the lead.

Luque injured in debut? Emre did his hamstring pretty quickly..
-
A flick from corner against Southampton, a corner goal against Leicester, a quick counter against Leicester (could say a late run to the box in 90th minute) a breakaway chip v Norwich, rebound against Arsenal, header v Brentford, long range strike against Brentford, long range against Southampton, tap in from a corner v Sheffield Wednesday, late run in the box against Brighton in 90th minute. I think they are all there. A lot of set piece goals and 2 long range ones were decent shot, curled in the bottom corner. I would still say he is better at making the killer pass. But we will see, both can certainly pass damn well.
-
Bruno's shooting is his biggest weakness imo. And does he have the legs to make those late runs to the box? He is great but not the quickest. And one of his biggest strenghts is those through balls to the box and little combinations that he has constantly played with Longstaff or Almiron. But this is just my opinion from the little I have seen.
-
Yea, certainly they can switch places, but I see him as a much bigger goal threat than Bruno.
-
Was linked to Everton somewhere. Cannot understand why would he go there..
-
2-0 and started with a lovely pass from Tonali.
-
I am too lazy to go back to this topic, but someone said he will be playing no 6 with Bruno becoming an 8. Has been mentioned hundred times, but he clearly fits the Longstaff-role perfectly. Longstaff's finishing was not that good, and he is quite one footed. Tonali can possible play that Bruno-role and give him a rest once in a while with no problem.

Last year we bought big money striker, now a CM so maybe year from now a big money centreback to replace Schär?

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
KingArthur replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
HJK has been pretty awful this season. Got in the UEL groups last year and UECL groups year before though. I have no idea about Larne's level, but this first round could be interesting Winner faces Norwegian side Molde, so no chance there most likely. -
Surely the price is in € in that tweet above. ffs I am slow.

We really are not getting Barella. I see no reason for him to leave Inter, and if he does, there will be bigger fish after him.
