And literally just seems we have a different opinion about this matter. You seem like a nice chap to discuss with.

Whatever, just saying what I have noticed that is their problem.
-
True, but it was again on the show against us this pre-season. Interesting to see how Pedro does.

Problem with Brighton is, that there is often very little presence in the box. Usually Wellbeck or whoever the striker is ends up alone in there. So all the fine work they do to keep the ball and play pass the press, they still don't get to very dangerous positions. It is very nice to watch, but then suddenly nothing happens were it all matters.

So it seems we are linked with Marcos Llorente from Atletico. No idea why we would be after another box-to-box CM though..
-
And this proves something? I had a dream were Villa trounced us 3-0.

I just think the club aims to be at the top in 4-5 years time. This success came a bit too soon, and we will have a "disappointing" season. Most likely 6-8. We just cannot financially compete with the top 6 in a while. People have to realize it takes time to build a strong squad and rebuild the whole club from the academy up.

Son had a bad season, but you really cannot say if he is done. He scored as many as Isak last season still. I think they and Liverpool will score a lot next season, but also ship in too many. Spurs will get 1-2 centrebacks. Seems like they are getting Van de Ven.
-
ManU has a lot stronger squad than we have. And they have made good signings. Spurs still has strong squad, but many of those players don't fit Ange's style and Kane is on the way out. If he leaves we are pretty much on par with them.

Game of football is pretty much 45+about 5 min - 15 min break and 45 + about 5min. It is good thing also for television broadcasters. Last 5 minutes would last half an hour.. Wouldn't be surprised if stop clock would bring ad breaks

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

They have decent attack anyway, it is the defence that seems to be the weak link for Spurs. Need 1-2 reinforcements there. -

Top 6 would be great, top 4 seems impossible with added fixtures and so many teams improving. Our squad is nowhere near strong enough yet, but we are getting there. -
Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

First time I saw Barnes for NUFC, and he will be so irritating to watch I think. Cannot always try to cut in to your right foot.. -
He has improved, but his first touch really needs to improve if he playes as a CM. Lots of pressing and running and is a goal threat, which is good. Will play quite a lot I guess.

Yes, but I think it was clear that our CBs are not very quick like. Don't really know that do they have to be? And we are not signing a starting CB anyway, well maybe Disasi can be starter.. -

It is weird, that the lack of pace was mentioned as a problem already when Botman was signed. Burn with him there is really a target. Was not a big problem last year, when we pressed well enough -
Again, we have absolutely no right back cover.
-
To be honest, Walker is, and was at that time, England XI regular. Gallagher and McTominay are just mediocre local players that are really overpriced. We sold Sissoko for 30 million when we went down, and he was France international. Prices have really gone up..

That is true that it worked well, but it has to be spot on. Andersson's goal was like from a pub league. So easy -
What does "Frees up Burn" mean in this case? He will most likely be second choice left back and second choice LCB. And there is even Dummett for that slot as a total last choice. No need for that at all imo. If Lascelles stays, we may survive without RCB, but it is a risk. Manquillo most likely is off, so we need backup right back for sure. That is why Livramento is obvious target. Club most likely thinks he is good enough to take the place when Trippier goes. We have two decent left backs and if you count Manquillo then certainly also Lewis as a LB? Most like both will be off I would guess. I would like to think we need rb, rcb and a starting right winger, but I guess wingers are done with Barnes. Defensive midfielder would be nice, but seems like Eddie will play Bruno as a sot of 6 anyway.
-
How did Tonali play?
-
We desperately need a RCB and RB. I mean if Schär gets his weekly head injury and Trippier does his hamstring, we are fucked.
-
If Dubs is not sold, then certainly Darlow is? Seems a bit weird to give Karius and Gillespie a deal. Though both are cheap most likely.
