Watching Wilson, especially in UCL is so frustrating. Yes he scores goals for us, but he contributes so little anything else. I mean he doesn't hold up very well, doesn't drop deep. He is a poacher. Haven't seen David enough to say anything, but we really need a more from a forward than just finishing.

So Howe sees that Livramento can sometimes play higher up, but Hall is just a left back. Most likely he will be starter for us for a long time, but not as a 19yo.
-
Because Howe sees him as a left back. So that is why he going to play there
-
Howe said he has work to do with defending, so he is not trusted completely yet. And he is seen as a left back so of course he is not played as a winger.
-
He was great. Only negative I have to say is (and this doesn't concern just Miley) is that when we win the ball back in midfield, we tried (and often try in other games) play Isak/Wilson through rightaway and end up giving back possession. Miley did this couple of times, but Wilson is not going to run away from defenders like that. Gordon maybe. It's infuriating because 2-3 passes and there might be chance for a counter. But anyway, our best player yesterday again.

I am blaming Lascelles more recently. He seems to be backing off so much that sometime he will end up in the first row. And it is a bit sad seeing Dubs and Lascelles starting for us in 2023 tbh.

To be honest, I still read it quite often. Match reports and stuff like that. Twitter is pretty crap and nufc.com gives another view of things. As a foreigner though there are terms and words I have no idea what they mean. I have been reading that since 2004-5 or something like that. Archives are nice.

I understand people are not happy with Dubravka, but we have 4 keepers on the books. What is the point of having so many of them, if we cannot play them in case like this?
-
I think there are 10 other players to blame there before Dubs
-
To be honest, Trippier has pretty much kept Mbappe quiet twice this season. It is not lack of ability, it is the sheer amount of games.
-
This. We are not there yet, but we are on a journey. Just can't handle all these injuries and this season seems to be about cup runs and building for the next one. Just bad luck.
-
Neither Miley or Bruno had the brain to follow the runner... Great defending.

Yea, top4 team this ManU for sure…

You are still i the race, but not if your form does not improve in that case. League is much more competitive this season. -

Your form against top8 teams is awful. Has been under ETH almost all the time, and it will catch up eventually. -
Exactly. Unless we get the guy who will be Pope's replacement eventually, we are not signing a GK. Need a forward and a CB.

Again people are reacting too harshly when we lose a game. We are not a top4 squad yet, and certainly not with these injuries. First job for NUFC is to stabilize their position in top 6-8, which we are now doing. Get revenues up, get a stronger squad and get rid of the deadwood still here and start building a top team. It really is not helping that after one great season we are expecting us to be top4 every season. City, Arsenal and Liverpool are way ahead of us and then that leaves one spot (or 2 depending) for us and all other nearly there clubs. Last year we were brilliant, this year it's Villa, next season who knows? We are still in the League Cup, most likely going through the fourth round in FAC and hopefully continue in some European competition after new year. It has been a bloody good season and an excellent one if you count the injuries. Our away form just needs to improve a lot. -
Of course fatigue is an important factor. We could and should have brought fresh legs to midfield and in place of Almiron. If you can't change anything you are predictable in long term. These players are giving everything and I have no reason to blame them. Bringing Hall in place of Trippier might give you fresh legs but it also weakens your team in defence and attack. I understand why Howe is not using subs, because Ritchie and Krafth bring nothing to the game
-
We defended so poorly that I have no reason to blame Dubravka. He is decent keeper and we didn't lose yesterday's match because of him. I think he will get better. Very physical side that Everton team so not an easy task.
-
City's biggest problem was that midfield. Left back Gvardiol very defensive of course and Foden sacrificed to winger with no support. Rico Lewis was totally bullied as a no 8 and Akanji is so bad on the ball that you cannot except him to make line breaking passes. Should have started with Kovacic, but maybe wasn't fit.

Of course we do not need to win that. There are 22 other games left.. -
