  1. Technically we've already had the Romano 'here we go' on Pedro... was just back in 2022.
  2. I don't think they have a limit they will spend on any one player. I think we refuse to go above what we value a player at, still trying to train clubs that we won't be held to ransom for a Saudi tax. I think that 50/55m figure is more down to us knowing we need a few players and still having a limited budget
  3. Miley will get way more minutes next season, think he will move past Willock as being the first midfield sub
  4. George Lucas two/only notes he would apparently give whilst directing were 'faster, more intense'. Pretty sure Eddie could knock out a decent Star wars film.
  5. People just say this like he isn't the player we miss the most when he isn't playing.
  6. His seeming refusal to do any sort of intense pressing surely rules him out of our scouting immediately.
  7. In addition to this, I think our first transfer will come from out of nowhere and only break when it's almost done.
  8. People need to get past the idea of 'smokescreens'. Doubt it's something we have every done. The Barella thing was obviously Edwards etc al getting heads up we were on the verge of a huge signing of an Italian international midfielder from a Milan side and punting on Barella when no one from the club would comment.
  9. Personal hunch is that Pedro happens, Elanga doesn't. Seems both Brighton and Pedro are wanting to make a deal happen this Summer. Initial figure may be high, but should mean negotiations are a little easier. Don't see Forest wanting to sell Elanga at all.
  10. Isn't the same true for Mbeumo last season, both for goals and assists? And people in here were clamouring for him before he decided on Man U.
  11. Echo the sentiments re Howe. He and his team have turned worse players than Elanga into fantastic players. Imagine they will have the lad tearing it up by Jan.
  12. Think it's becoming obvious that, whilst we don't have any PSR concerns for this period, the club are still waiting till the next period starts at the end of June before financially committing to anything.
  13. Only thing that gives me pause with this Garcia lad is it being only one specific Spanish journo that's on it. Maybe he has an inside track, but it's just as, if not more, likely that his agent is using this guy to try and drum up more interest/a move from someone else.
  14. If it's either/or it has to be Mbeumo. We need someone ready to go now.
  15. Lol why are people even talking about Vardy? If we're going to waste posts let's at least bring back the Aniston posting.
  16. Hate the bastards. But all it means, realistically, is a pretty piss easy 6 points. Same as Ipswich this season.
  17. Aye, the new kit on the last day of the season is very much a 'already on the beach' move.
  18. Shocked it's taken them this long. Obviously would prefer they didn't, especially now we have won something with this badge. That being said, I do undertand why older football badges/crests are a nightmare from a branding perspective. Just hope they don't get too daft with it. And they clock on there can't be a hint of green anywhere, or the world of football journalism will be in uproar.
  19. Have a look in on RTG. They're not taking this well at all.
  20. Last time against Man U I just couldn't see us winning, no matter how hard it tried. Today, for whatever reason, I just can't see us losing Not sure why I feel this way. I know it's mental. I know I'm setting myself up for heartbreak. But I just can't see us getting beat today. To go a step further, I feel like it may not even be close.. 3-0 the lads.
  21. 65k is fine. People complain enough about the atmosphere already, really think it will get any better with an extra 25k of randoms/out of towners/hospitality?
  22. This really depends on what the coaching team are seeing from Botman when he returns. After this length of time out his development may have been significantly impacted. Do you gamble on him getting back on track, or cut losses. Personally I'd keep him, but I wouldn't say a sale doesn't make any sense.
  23. I'm the opposite. Been quietly confident these past couple weeks. Had a feeling that our name was on the cup this year. Last night was a reality check. I know there has been some bed wetting, but we honestly didn't play that badly last night, and we still barely laid a glove of them. That being said, I do agree with @conjo in that at least we didn't use up our one jammy Liverpool win last night. If we had somehow won last night there's no way they would have allowed that to happen again in the final.
