  1. Only thing that gives me pause with this Garcia lad is it being only one specific Spanish journo that's on it. Maybe he has an inside track, but it's just as, if not more, likely that his agent is using this guy to try and drum up more interest/a move from someone else.
  2. If it's either/or it has to be Mbeumo. We need someone ready to go now.
  3. Lol why are people even talking about Vardy? If we're going to waste posts let's at least bring back the Aniston posting.
  4. Hate the bastards. But all it means, realistically, is a pretty piss easy 6 points. Same as Ipswich this season.
  5. Aye, the new kit on the last day of the season is very much a 'already on the beach' move.
  6. Shocked it's taken them this long. Obviously would prefer they didn't, especially now we have won something with this badge. That being said, I do undertand why older football badges/crests are a nightmare from a branding perspective. Just hope they don't get too daft with it. And they clock on there can't be a hint of green anywhere, or the world of football journalism will be in uproar.
  7. Have a look in on RTG. They're not taking this well at all.
  8. Last time against Man U I just couldn't see us winning, no matter how hard it tried. Today, for whatever reason, I just can't see us losing Not sure why I feel this way. I know it's mental. I know I'm setting myself up for heartbreak. But I just can't see us getting beat today. To go a step further, I feel like it may not even be close.. 3-0 the lads.
  9. 65k is fine. People complain enough about the atmosphere already, really think it will get any better with an extra 25k of randoms/out of towners/hospitality?
  10. This really depends on what the coaching team are seeing from Botman when he returns. After this length of time out his development may have been significantly impacted. Do you gamble on him getting back on track, or cut losses. Personally I'd keep him, but I wouldn't say a sale doesn't make any sense.
  11. I'm the opposite. Been quietly confident these past couple weeks. Had a feeling that our name was on the cup this year. Last night was a reality check. I know there has been some bed wetting, but we honestly didn't play that badly last night, and we still barely laid a glove of them. That being said, I do agree with @conjo in that at least we didn't use up our one jammy Liverpool win last night. If we had somehow won last night there's no way they would have allowed that to happen again in the final.
  12. Yeah, but why do you think that is what I'm asking? What about his coaching style, man management etc makes you think 'he is at his peak'
  13. Why is he not the manager to take us forward?
  14. Yep, and assuming the winners of the FA Cup and League Cup (please god) qualify for a higher form of European football, there's every chance that the European spots could go all the way down to 9th. Which is daft, but would make it very hard for us not to qualify one way or another for Europe.
  15. Given Lascelles is likely off we really need to keep Schar, but hopefully next season we will have someone we are phasing in to be his successor.
  16. Do people actually think PSR, and the effect it has on out ability to spend, is actually just made up and we use it as an excuse for not spending?
  17. This happens every Feb, all the media outlets just re-heat all the Jan rumours for the Summer. Don't fall for it.
  18. Don't want to piss on your chips but it no longer works that way. The Conference League spot drops into the league if the League Cup winners qualify for CL/EL through league.
  19. Tonali and Bruno are going to be more key than they usually are.
  20. Should always be this. We are the only sports team on the planet who can use it knowing we don't need to even check with the band. Make the most of it.
  21. I'd give both bollocks for an Isak goal inside 5 minutes tonight. Turn the game into one long celebration.
  22. This. No good blaming the lack of atmosphere on the ground when more and more games at SJP are going by with barely a peep from from crowd. Don't get me wrong, it's not every game, but it's becoming more regular. The atmosphere will be good if we make it good. Regardless of the ground. In fact if you want to talk acoustics, it (in theory) should be better in a more closed off, bowl type stadium that isn' so drastically different in it's sizes from one half of the ground to the other.
  23. To be fair to whoever that was, the article does mention there is likely to be opposition from the council. This is far from done. Just heirarchy at the club are leaning towards recommending this option to the PIF.
