And the PR campaign begins, then the lad goes onto to have a season for the ages... And then he fucks off next Summer for a (slightly) reduced min release clause.

There's 0 chance he is involved in that game. The whole no pre-season reason will be used to keep him out of the squad altogether.

Not even trolling when I say I honestly think he will be gone by Christmas. For all those new signings, it's only really Cunha who is going to be ready to make an early impact. Mbeumo looks weeks away from being match fit, and Sesko (who is a risk anyway) is likely going to need a season to bed in. If they gave Amorim the entire season he'd probably get it right in the second half and you'd finish strong. But given the time he's already have I think if he has a shaky start, which is very possible, they will get nervous and sack him.

I'd pay any amount of money to see Osula doing the Isak thumb celebration past VVD after scoring a last minute winner in a few weeks.

For all her faults, she was the PIF whisperer at the club. Wasn't afraid to go around the red tape and talk directly to whoever she needed to to get stuff done.

Sorry, may sound crazy, but I'd still take this. The Ashley days were pushing me towards an existential crisis in terms of trying to figure out if I even liked/cared about the club I supported anymore.

Haven't heard anything re Silverstone. But it's been circulated a fair bit that Eales and Ashworth wanted her gone. Believe I even read someone, maybe Hope or Keith, saying that Ashworth was a bit gutted he'd already decided to leave when she got ousted.
