Bolt’s top speed will be about 45km/h over a short distance 👍
-
Over what distance? That’s Usain Bolt’s speed over 100m

I still think the lad has talent, and that games like today aren’t exactly perfect for his all-action athleticism and box-to-box running style. Still, it’s been a while since he looked at the level, so he’ll need to start showing form again in the not so distant future otherwise I reckon he could be out the door

Who needs facts when you can just play make-believe? Also, I was born in July 1982 - Sunderland’s average position in my lifetime (and I’m not a young’un) is 26th in the league - so their average is a ‘championship club’. Delewdid knackers
-
It’s an embarrassingly big gulf right now. I doubt three clubs have ever been relegated quicker than this lot.

That’ll dee

Looks all the funnier given he looks about 8 years old

Took long enough. Fucking hell

The European Cup wasn’t stripped off them at any point - their French title was, though; that was the competition they were caught cheating in
-
Sparta Rotterdam definitely adopted Sunderland’s colours
-
It’s not like - we need to finish top five; Man City are a shoo-in - Villa are a threat

I still think we have the hardest run-in. I still think we’ll make it but the cocksureness of some of a few days ago should have disappeared -
Man Utd and Spurs will be back in it soon enough. Money talks - they’re light years ahead of us, Villa and Forest
-
Just to add - they could actually have got their ‘related party’ sponsorships inflated initially, rejected by the PL, then agreed at a lower price, knowing that if Man City succeed then they could backdate and potentially take action against the PL We shouldn’t be surprised as others have mentioned, KSA is like any other dictatorship; inefficient, slow and not particularly good at paying the bills on time
-
You can be gay as long as you don’t act on it - it’s all down to them not wanting to sound prejudiced (while absolutely being that very thing)
-
No-one is paying close to those sums for those players in the FFP era. Our overlords and masters once again bailed one of our rivals out of the shit.
-
It’s desperately sad watching him at this point. I love him as a centre forward, I think he’s right up there in the PL era for us. But all we’re watching now is a player reducing his goals to games ratio. Make it stop.

The kid comes across well, mind, and seems to be of really good character - if he leaves I hope he does well elsewhere
