Honestly, I can’t understand why Villa signed him. He was powderpuff every time I saw Leicester last season. Leicester were one of those sides you get every so often where they go down but have some really good players. Tielemans wasn’t one of them.
-
Yeah, I loved that one. So if (when) we win the league, the top slot will appear empty. Like the BBC refusing to acknowledge ‘Relax’ going No. 1. Mad bastards.
-
I hopped on there briefly. Lots of waffle about how ‘of course we got beat, they’ve spent billions’. They’ve spent nowt, of course.
-
Tielemans is absolute drek mind. Looked garbage at Leicester last season - still can’t understand why so many rave about him.
-
Best bit I saw was Roker Mackem telling his fellow Mackems that too many of them sit and comment on Newcastle threads. Ahem.
-
We’ve been doped, apparently. Just like Leicester. Also there is no chance that we can finish top four no matter how we look, just like we didn’t three months ago
-
If this lad is still here in three years’ time it’s because we’ve joined that bracket of club, and we’re elite-level.
-
You might well be right. It feels like a privilege watching the lad play. I still can’t fathom watching a player this good in B&W.
-
KK took us from likely relegation to Division Three to 3rd in the PL in two and a half years. It’s still KK until Howe wins something
-
The lad just looks like Henry MkII every time. He’s going to be a legend here, he really is.
-
What I will say though is that part of the takeover push was the notion of ‘regional investment’, if I remember correctly. Tarting up that part of the city wouldn’t be the worst way of doing that.
-
Yeah, I know. I was kidding
-
As did I - and I was only kidding (Google maps isn’t any source of truth)
-
I’ll get pedantic (yes, I know the Quayside isn’t really the city centre ) Though the arena would be closer to most of the city’s watering holes. Not sure what being closer to Eldon Square means in terms of a matchday experience.

The arena is roughly the same distance from the city centre as SJP

Agreed. Longstaff’s absence that day was really noticeable, too. The protection he offered to Trippier was missed. -

Seem to remember that it was Trippier and Schar who had shockers, not Burn. ‘Funnelled possession’. Christ. There’s some right pretentious wanker posted online these days.
