Exactly what I saw aswell. Also when recieving the ball hes great at moving it into space with his first touch. We had a couple of really nice passages of play involving him early in the first half, loved it.

Apart from the fact any fee would be much bigger than if he only had a year on the contract for example. Its some pretty decent security for us, in the same way that the three years on the rat's contract helped us get such a big fee. Not that any of us want Sandro to go anywhere!

Bruno the obvious standout. Botman with a lowkey brilliant game, some lovely passing! Absolutely loved some of Woltemades play, looks like he just does whatever is best for the situation rather than what might be best for him. I was looking forward to that game quite alot, had a real CL feel for some reason. Really enjoyed it!

Rice is quality no doubt, hes world class probably even taking into account any English hype. However to me our Italian has something extra, an aura around him that puts him into the elite bracket for his position. Everything he does looks effortless, could be the first touch pass, the sprint in added time, or the volley. To the point I dont think theres much comparison, probably better compared with a Modric level midfielder.
