This is crazy. We've spent 170m across a January window and just over two weeks of the summer window, and you have to imagine there's more to come further up the pitch. We're going big. Quick edit : I just thought I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is more than Ashley laid out on the team in his time when you take into account all the profit he made on players. At this point as long as the player isn't a dickhead, I'm excited for every signing knowing the guys in charge and I'm hoping Eddie is getting a decent input, will be doing a great job. Every signing is going to either push for a starting spot or add solid depth, which isn't hard with our squad. Then the dream of a marquee signing thrown in there would be unbelievable. (Paqueta!!) Obviously hard to predict but how many more signings do you guys think we will make?

Absolutely zero. My heart had turned to dust under Ashley. I describe my relationship with Newcastle as falling head over heels in love with a girl (Sir Bobby, Champions league days), the flame being extinguished for 14 years but staying loyal to her (Ashley era), then one day everything is rejuvenated and the flame is burning stronger than ever before (the takeover/now!). I will keep my fingers crossed!

I'm hoping less of you mad travelling Geordies can be arsed to come all the way down to Bournemouth or Southampton, so more chance of a ticket for me. Fingers crossed.

Not sure of his age but I know he's decided not to go to uni and do this instead so must have just finished school, 18-19? The season just gone he attended every game for the first team, home and away. That's not bad going along with all the other games, womens etc. He's making a decent amount to be able to afford the travel and hotels he stays in for the away games, even getting executive box's, so you get to see a different experience. Plus with the way our lovely club is growing so will his channel inevitably providing he keeps at it. Power to him, I wish I could've done that at his age instead of working endless hours doing something shitty for the same money probably.

For a fan of the toon that lives in Dorset, he's the only one I can think of out there that gets so involved with everything and shows people like me more of what's going on up there. He's a pretty young harmless lad, think people need to just get off his back and let him crack on.

Hello fellow toon army! My opinion on botman and the whole sluggish conversation. Just think back to John Terry, just able to read the game extremely well. Sven has years on his side, and Howe and Co to develop his game. He's going to be an improvement to the squad for sure if we get him so fingers crossed.
