Another way of looking at, does the trick for me Forest need to win both games - one of which is against Chelsea - and we'd need to lose both Villa need to win both games - and we'd need to win neither Chelsea need to win at least one game - with a goal swing - if we were to lose both games, both with a goals swing - if we were to draw at least one, both with a goals swing if we were to win one lose one. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes either

The scousers gave McManaman the some stick for the same thing (minus the league titles). Booed Owen when he came back so they've that going for them.
-
Man United and Spurs have replaced Leicester and Southampton as the leagues cannon fodder
-
Every chance we'll still have to beat Everton so probably not yet.

The rear guard actions in the 2nd half will be useful battle testing for next week. Don't really care about performances given the skewered circumstances in the 2nd half, they didn't coin 'its sometimes more difficult to play against ten men' just for us and they had nothing to lose by that point.

Went in one of the ones down from the scoreboard once (wish I could remember the game) was like John Spartan trying to work out the seashells on Demolition Man or Mick Dundee the bidet on Croc Dundee just with evolution reversed.

General NUFC stuff: club crest to be changed (Official)
Jonas replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
Absolutely no need for it and just seems like change for changes sake. Cant see any benefit to it whatsoever when there's nothing wrong with it. The last one belongs on a junior football shirt so can see the need there. Generally hate the idea of changing them anyway, takes times to get equity into these things, its just drawings and letters until you get that,we have it, so why f*ck with that and start over. -
We were waved off from Bilbao by Bilbao fans in far greater numbers and with greater enthusiasm than that.

Was being cheap and going for the gravitas of the names, figuring McGhee's successes in Scotland would stand out at that level as opposed to Kelly who had a mostly 2nd Division career. Same with Sellars. Kelly's arguably my favourite ever player, at least on Mount Rushmore, no offence meant.

If he stays true to character he'll probably establish Hearts in 3rd then agree to any shafting of the other clubs the Old Firm cartel can think of - the snivling little c*nt

A Non PL XI could pick from Harper, Krul, Srnicek Venison, Beresford, Anderson, Howey, Colocinni Waddle, McDermott, Lee, Jonas, Nolan, McCreery, Clark, (first season) Big Roy Peacock, Beardsley Keegan, Cole, Quinn, McGhee Rafa, Keegan, Hughton *no idea why I just started thinking about that

Could end up in an Austria West Germany 1982 scenario between Forest and Chelsea on the last day if we don't beat Chelsea. Which, as its Chelsea, will be completely endorsed.
-
Be a draw. Bunching everything up, making it even more precarious, and nobody none the wiser, prolonging the torment.
-
Forest are 4 behind with 12 points to play for though 3 of those would have to be at Chelsea's expense.
-
Had it going down to the wire a month back, 1 point in it. Worst of either world really, whether we qualify or not it means brutality ahead. (Didn't have Chelsea to beat Liverpool in the calculations) 5 more for Villa 8 for Forest.

Don't know what was going on with his celebration, but if he's let that very small smattering bother him all this time he's a dick especially as there was a smattering of applause when he was substituted
-
Well, said I'd take a draw so have to be okay with that. Deserved it. They didn't deserve a win from that as the home team. Special mention for their supporters - they're shit

Its like so many games there. Were shit, they're shit, games shit, they somehow win
-
Vile fixture. Home and away. Almost always a bad game. Have expected nothing less for years and years now.

There is equally as little reason why with the right recruitment the wealthier, more attractive and far better teams already Leeds and Burnley couldn't beat them to it. Let alone the other wealthier 17 premier clubs. Our absolutely horrible 90/91 season (rank it as the worst non-Ashley season I personally experienced,) the epitome of midtable, lost at home to Bristol Rovers and Notts County, rock bottom Hull did the double over us etc. We were closer to automatic promotion than these this season.
-
Its in our hands but were not going to get maximum points so fancy a result or two needs to go for us elsewhere too.
-
If we finish at least 4th it will be the 8th season in a row we've finished at least an entire division ahead of them.

Officially there was only a couple thousand more, undiscernable to the naked eye, than the Millwall game but it felt at the time and looks when you look back at it very different to that. Best atmosphere I'd experienced by that point, part of which was how heaving it all felt.
