    Joe Willock

I Ilke to think we've learned a few things too because of it, rotation and frequency of training sessions

    Joe Willock

Willock is just a vital piece of the jigsaw. Whilst longstaff and miley have their qualities, playing a midfield with both of them just doesn't suit our system. Even so, with everyone fit it's Bruno, willock and joelinton for me, combative, creative and bags of energy.
  3. That's mint, the way it should be
  4. See I don't think the 2nd was was lucky at all, won the ball back, swift and direct build up play getting it forward quickly and then probably the most difficult type of cross to defend caused chaos. Murphy gets a lot of flack, but he's one of the only players who thinks get the ball in as early as possible, most wait for an overlap, hesitate or check their run
  5. I know what you mean but it's very wise. These two are the first 2 lads I'd want on the teamsheet especially when fit, but hopefully game by game we'll get another 5-10 mins out of them.
  6. I missed this one today but my heart sank when on the highlights I immediately saw the dickheads holding their phones Like wearing a baseball cap in a restaurant, we should be the first club to BAN mobile phones during play. Take a photo before the game, maybe after in a victory lap but that's it. If your moaning about phone coverage in the ground - FUCK OFF, go home and play on the internet there, if there's an emergency the announcer will tell you. It's a good thing the internet is shite in the ground. The club need to reshuffle seats. Start moving people around. They need to sell blocks of seats to people who tick the box 'i want to SING!!!' I've went to nearly every match on my own and all I ask for is to sit next to a like minded person who's up for it if the club won't sell me 2 seats together
  7. 100% right. Saying dalglish had an eye for a player (based on Newcastle) is like saying I've got an eye for interior design by smashing up your house, setting fire to it and then fucking off with 100k for the job. Dalglish reign was putrid. For every solano, there's about 10 disasters
  8. Was just talking about that earlier to someone! I think it was when dogleash changed the formation to wingbacks and then Elliott starting scoring goals from wing back. As you say ginola was ostracized . But in what circumstances does a club sell a young player who is at the height of their development and weighing in with goals that secured Europes premier competition....to Bolton, for 2.5m!? Then we've got neither, and he sells Bez who was scoring goals from left back and was actually our top scorer with barnes. Then the stupid cunt bought des Hamilton and played him there
  9. They won by 4 points in the end, if we assume we'd had our tails up and beat spurs (Newcastle could have scored about ten seconds half) it would have went to goal difference which I'd assume theirs was better? Even so, it might have put them under pressure instead of all the pressure on us
  10. It would have swung back our way if we'd won. What's worse, against forest away ferdinand crashed a header against the bar just before woan scored
  11. 12. Leeds United got the record number of away draws, it was actually far worse than 6, I think it was 13 consecutive away draws. Some teams just seem to be lucky and some don't
  12. Justin whittles on shearer was far worse against Grimsby. Split his lip open
  13. People might not remember this one, but Phillip Neville's horrendous tackle on Gillespie at old trafford during the 1995/96 season when we were unstoppable at the time. Gillespie went off and was injured for most of the season. We lost the game and the balance in the team. Not only did we blow the league after then, Gillespie, who looked like one of the most promising youngsters in the world then, turned to gambling and although flash moments like Barca, was never the same
  14. They want the rat boy, super kev. Or fat Sam.
  15. I think that's very good point. It's amazing how many of his goals came from a give and go. Really we are overloaded with players who like to play on the left (big J, Gordon, willock) because let's say Bruno was LM with tonali in the middle, I think those situations would happen regular especially on a break because Bruno has the vision and ability to play them passes. Same can be said of Gordon of course. The problem seems to be that this season Newcastle seem to be coaxed into playing a high line where there's no space in behind where players like Barnes and isak thrive. With the whole forward line recovering from injuries and an overused midfield we just don't get from defence to attack quick enough. If players remain fit instead of recurring injuries I'm sure that will change.
  16. No. You will stay around to witness us part with 35m for hall.
  17. Like sharing a cell with Fred OR rose west if you ask me.
  18. Then everyone in the media then engages in full orgy mode wanking them all off.
  19. I was thinking why they decided to do the draw when half the teams hadn't played, is it not meant to be after
  20. Yeh, unlike anfield, at man city we might actually get more than one decision in our favour, even if it's a throw in.
  21. We had to ruin the league cup final by beating man city, what a pack of cunts we are
