  1. Just think, if he gets injured after ten mins we get to see gillespie
  2. Think it will be 5 at the back with Miley sacrificed
  3. They should remove the seats. Or you have to bring a seat in with you and must accept you'll be called a cunt
  4. Also, the club made an error with level 7, for a standard seat filled with kids that pay half the price....you get the best leg room in the ground! If level 7 had been high capacity like the east stand you'd be talking a few thousand more all the way around. I know we like our comforts but its not really business sense
  5. I used st James' metro recently for the first time in ages to have a peak at the fanzone progress, by just passing through the station I realised that the extending the gallowgate and the GW corner (as much as I want it) is a task that is bordering on fantasy. The foundations would be absolute fucking massive. The main problem is actually the corner under SBR. Shepherds plan to extend didn't involve the corner, but a single gallowgate super structure that went back beyond the metro, if you've stood there you realise that would acquire more materials than Sunderland's whole stadium. No wonder he walked away when he saw the costs involved. unfortunately the club made a major mistake not adjusting the pitch during the 90s rebuild, I can only assume that things were done too quickly without a thorough feasibility study because we were adding level 7 before the paint was dry. Lets say nowt happens, not one crane outside SJP again......experts could easily look at the interior of SJP for higher capacity in the same way they utilise more seats on a plane. If you look at most of the biggest capacity ground they aren't overwhelmed with exits yet they are still deemed safe. Other grounds don't seem to have the same mass space for disabled yet still provide them, indeed anfield claims more disabled areas and more disabled seats yet they don't have any obvious gangways or spaces between rows. We must also be the only club with a huge press area yet other big grounds claim to provide them on the same level or higher.
  6. Arsenal 0-7 Newcastle Burn 2 Burn 13 Burn 67 Richie 77, 78, 79, 117 (90+27)
  7. These cunts will be extra fired up, they were mighty pissed off about the 1-0 loss at SJP. Even parking the bus.....we could end up with a heavy loss. The optimistic person in me says things will improve but the realist says this is a spanking and a whiff of revenge all wanked over by the media
  8. I got a ticket in club 1892, I thought I was the only cunt at the match
  9. Personally I think if we are going to play livremento at LB, we need a left footer ahead of him, unfortunately that only leaves almiron. The reason being is that we seem to depend on the right boot of trippier to create chances which makes us so one dimensional. As semenyo proved, you can still be a goal threat without cutting inside. However, I don't agree with the crowd getting on Dan burn and almirons back, they are limited players that were never long term solutions. It's not like Dan burn will start running like Usain bolt. It's down to the manager, it's down to the manager, and there are those that probably admire his loyalty to the players and those who quite rightly point out that it's costing us a lot of points. Maybe with schar injured, burn gets to move in the centre? Which solves a problem without having to drop the player and give him a vote of no confidence. Now if we were talking about making cut throat decisions.....you could argue that Lascelles deserves to play ahead of botman and burn at CB (never thought Id say that) Ps - pleased for Matt Richie, he gets a load of shite hoyed his way and unfairly. When he came on Newcastle improved and did more in 10 mins than some players did in 90. Didn't lose the ball, give us a better outlet on the right, and played some great forward passes. Also, the place he got himself in the box was not where you'd find almiron too often.
  10. I think that's basically been isak's season. I think under different circumstances willock would have been back by now, but the consequences of bringing him back too early would be horrific. Mad to think he was originally injured before last season ended
  11. If the club moved out the city centre they'd lose fans. Just my opinion like but for me the city centre location acts like a magnet I'd rather they demolish SJP and play with temporary stands at Gateshead. The existing footprint with a better design would yield far more seats. My preference though would be to move 100m into leazes park constructing half the stadium behind SJP (like spurs and Bilbao) The club could make an agreement to make the land around the new SJP into a park and maintain it rather than the current leazes park left to rot
  12. If Steve Bruce was 4m compensation to shef wed, we should be asking for 700m
  13. But we've still had more injuries. That was my point only
  14. The media are such a bunch of cunts when it comes to us, they love just heaping the negativity on us like a fuckin atom bomb. Headlines today are all about ashworth leaving for manures glorious Revolution and Bruno leaving for Liverpool or Chelsea.
  15. No. We've had more - true or false?
  16. Theyve not had the injury mess we've had has well. No players rushed back either unfit with reoccurring injuries
  17. How do Leeds produce that much match day revenue? The stadium is completely dilapidated?
  18. My bad, was thinking of right back Stephen Kelly, who is now 40, just 15 years difference
  19. Is Kelly not a RB? Think we need an adventurous LB asap. Robinson would be canny from Fulham
  20. By definition only like
