  1. That would depend on the price, probably too expensive for what he would be worth to us right now. But it would make sense to me, if we are buying a forward, might as well buy a centre forward (which is the main position of the guys we are linked with anyway) and have Isak be the one to play anywhere in front 3.
  2. I'm surprised Hojlund isn't linked with us.
  3. Not sure why people have us losing to Chelsea. Probably the only club in the league that doesn't have anything to play for.
  4. I'm not afraid of Liverpool, even if they win all their remaining games, we should still finish above them. Home game against Tottenham is where it's all at.
  5. Still a great result for us. We are 12 points ahead of Liverpool with only 9 games left. If they catch up to us, we don't deserve UCL.
  6. Btw if we are already talking about Dinamo number 10s, I'm a bigger fan of Ivanusec and especially Baturina. If anyone is gonna be new Modrić, it's him.
  7. He is a natural number 10, very left footed, in a 4-3-3 he is most suited as a right midfielder, he can also play as a right winger, but definitely not a dribbling threat when played there.
  8. With how much we are being linked with Maddison, I'm surprised Majer isn't mentioned as well. Very similar player but for half the price. He is playing worse this season than last though, and he wouldn't really fit in our pressing scheme, but if we need more quality on the ball he would be a decent option.
  9. Yes, its been amazing the last 3 games that him Gvardiol played as a pair. It feels like having 2 midfielders as centre backs.
  10. Release cause being relatively low makes it much more likely for us to sign him. Hopefully Chelsea doesn't come in for him, they love their release clauses.
  11. It was Lovren during most of the World Cup(most Croatian didnt like that decision but he played well so its hard to argue), he played only against Morocco in the 3rd player match. That match is probably the only one where we dominated, besides Canada in the group stage. He did play against France when we beat them in Paris in Nations League. He and Stanisic made Mbappe invisible.
  12. I'm probably biased as a Croatian but I think Sutalo from Dinamo Zagreb would be a fantastic signing at RCB. He is young (just turned 23), very modern centre back. Will probably go to RB Leipzig or a similar club for £20m pounds this year, and then be sold for £40-50m in a year or two so it would be smarter to buy him now. He's been excellent for our National team and for Dinamo in the UCL. Very similar to Schar playstyle wise, fantastic technique and very calm on the ball. Also faster than Schar, but also makes a mistake here and there which is to be expected from a young player. Don't think we'll sign him, he will probably go somewhere where he will be a guaranteed starter, but with us playing European football, we will have lot more minutes to give at centre back positions.

I guess EPL is the farmer's league now
  14. We only need 14 points from last 9 games to reach 70 points, seems very doable.
  15. Perfect upgrade to Longstaff would be Valverde, but no way Real sells him. Defensively he gives you the same if not more, but offensively, if he was in the same situations that Longstaff was, he would have had 10+ goals by now.

Don't mind me, just putting this out there (it's for season 2020/21)
  17. We should be able to get at minimum €40m, and over €50m if we go past the group stage. Although, UEFA coefficient will fuck us, that's why we need any European football as fast as possible.
  18. Looks like a £10m increase in commercial revenue, seems about right with most of it being the noon deal. Along with an increase of around £30m in EPL prize money, pretty decent rise this season. Main shirt sponsor will be the big one next year.

    U23s & Academy

Why does it feel like I see this exact tweet every 2 weeks?
  20. This would be our biggest signing yet
  21. One thing I hope this new ownership improves, and where I see a lot of room for our growth is the youth development, which basically went dead under Ashley. When you look at how many players England produced in recent times, and how many talented players we used to produce in 80s and 90s, with new and improved training grounds, hopefully next Bellingham or Foden comes through our academy. That could prove to be much more effective than paying 40m for every above average British young player.
  22. I think so too, but apparently Qatari's wanna keep him at all costs.
  23. Gonna be interesting to see PSG work their way around new FFP salary cap with Messi still at the club. They would have to have maximum of 90% of their revenue go to their player's salaries. Currently, even with their inflated revenues, they are at 111%.
