Went to Villa away years ago when we won 0-2. Can’t remember the year but Hooper was in goal and Cole scored at least one and I think Bruno was fighting Tyson that night. John Anderson and Mick Lowes were staying in the same hotel and we got absolutely shit faced with them. Back then Mick Lowes covered both Newcastle and Sunderland games and he was neutral in terms of preference. Long story short when asked who had the most loyal support he said Newcastle by a long way. I had the worst hang over I’ve ever had at the match - Anderson was ordering bottles of champagne and charging it to random room numbers. Happy days
