  1. And Liverpool will not win the league either way. Couldn't care less about whether they get 2nd or 3rd. They will probably get 3rd either way aswell.
  2. Which is odd considering that Liverpool winning gets them nothing..
  3. That's completely different from saying that they are. And if he did, it would be easy for me to find it. I don't think that it's wrong to talk about court cases, unless you actually say someone is guilty, which he didn't. He knows how to word himself in these cases in a way that everyone knows what he means, but he doesn't actually say it. That way he avoids the trouble, or avoid being told that he was wrong, in which he can just say "I didn't say that". That sly bugger.
  4. The articles are writing everything that he is saying on the podcasts, in quotes. It's not something that he is writing himself. I saw videos aswell, there is no video of him saying that they ARE guilty. You could still give me an example it I'm wrong on that. As I said he is just criticising them for how they deal with the process, he never said that they ARE guilty. Insinuating shouldn't really be illegal, are journalist all supposed to talk about how they must be innocent? "Oh they are sabotaging the investigation, but you know, they probably have their reason since they must be innocent." That would definetly not be one sided. Saying that people who refuse to cooperate in investigations are usually guilty is just a pure fact.

    Kieran Trippier

2 months is quite minor for us, to be fair. Everything is relative.
  6. Haven't checked on Carragher, but I have now looked through different articles on Simon Jordan comments regarding the case. As I said he is criticising how they are handling the investigation etc., and saying that if you are innocent then it should be easy for you to prove it. Which is true. Not a single time does he seem to say that they ARE guilty. He has however said that IF they are guilty, they should be punished very hard. But that's not saying that they are. I'm not a fan of Simon Jordan, but lets not put words into his mouth. Or maybe you could show me an example?
  7. Hmm haven't heard anyone say that personally. I think the criticism from for example talksport was about things like Man City doing everything they can to slow down and almost sabotage the investigation. Which obviously is highly suspicious, considering that someone who is innocent would usually not want to do these thing, and rather just prove their innocence and get it over with. But again I can't remember hearing them say that they are guilty for certain.
  8. To try to protect clubs like Man City. They knew about the breaches, and let them go with a fine, until someone was pushing for an independent investigation. Isn't that what happened?
  9. Just the fact that Man City repeatedly has refused to cooperate tells me all I know. No way PL would press 115 charges against Man City unless they had some strong evidence. They wouldn't have had the balls.
  10. I feel like Liverpool could still make a signing like that before june 30th if they really wanted to, and not break the rules? Not sure if they would spend this much on a midfielder this window, though, but they intended to do it last summer when Caicedo chose Chelsea.
  11. To be fair they are breaking Premier League records of being really shit.
  12. Hmm sorry, not following. What does that mean?
  13. I don't want to give people anxiety here, but didn't Liverpool try to buy Caicedo for over £100m last summer, and then go for a much cheaper Endo instead? Did they spend much after that? Also, clubs can still sell players at the beginning of the window to free up funds? And also, there is an amortization system, so how much does it really affect this years books? Don't know that much about it.
  14. He has been good this season, I don't think many will deny that. In previous seasons, however. He's been bad. Not necessarily horrible, but pretty bad, atleast in their system.
  15. Genuine question, how would you feel about Boehly offering £30m for Højlund, get rejected, and then cry in the media about how it's one of the issues with football?
  16. It's kind of like Man Utd fans saying that they hope they lose to Man City just so that Liverpool may not win the league. With Man City even being a local rival. I think that usually it's also a way of coping, like they know they will probably lose the game anyways. Because if they win they still celebrate and boast about it, even when they say before the game that they wanted Man City to beat them.
  17. If you look at all the players in the PL who cost more than £90m, are/were any of them actually better than him? Maybe I have forgotten some, but I don't think so. Possibly Rice, but not really? I think Rice may be the best out of the current £90m + signings.
  18. And if they don't agree, he can take it to court?
  19. Didn't know that you can challenge an unrealistic evaluation like this. Man Utd wanted £15m from us to get Lingard on loan. Could we have made legal challenges over it? Lingard himself was quite upset over that.
  20. Was it active in earlier seasons, or is it active in future summer windows? I feel bad for the media, then they can't milk clicks off of that clause anymore after june.

    Harvey Barnes

From the few things I've seen, I think his delivery is quite good when he does it in the right moments (seen som great crosses), but yeah, the decision making in those moments can be dodgy with him. My 2 cents.
  22. Ratcliffe definetly has some images of Ashworth that he doesn't want to have leaked. The only explanation.

    Harvey Barnes

From what I've seen of him this season, he can do some strange things in the final third. I remember he made a mess of a big chance or two against Villa on the opening day, because of his decision making. That's the biggest flaw I've seen so far. His decision making still seems much better than that of Almiron though, who will make a mess of it 90% of the time.
  24. Do we actually know for sure that he has the kind of clause mentioned in his contract, or may the media have made it up just to have a better reason for generating endless transfer rumours about him?
  25. There was one moment where I was jumping because Longstaff didn't shoot. I thought that was a big chance. However, he would've had to shoot with his left, and I'm not sure I have ever seen him do that.
